Then Jjajki ended up winning. I think once you get this far, the skill margin is so slim. It will depend on BO, not making big mistakes and general condition. DRG is the favorite but maybe something like 30% chance. Nothing overwhelming. Agreed. I'm gonna go with Gumiho to win, because nobody expects it.

![]() MC isn't in the top 4 players of the world, let alone the top protoss player. getting wrecked in your best matchup by one of the two overall strong protoss players in the world. ![]()

I put MC as the 5th best protoss Genius Creator Parting Treme MC MC is super overrated though. Treme is only there by taking a hype train, and his brilliant GSTL play right now.

I'm not a hater, i think MC is still pretty good but there's no way you can argue that he is close to players like DRG and Alive who have such a solid style

What do you base your "nowadays" rankings on then? I base it off of recent success - which is to me the most obvious measurement of how well someone is playing at the moment. I'm pretty sure MC just won HSC and got to the quarterfinals of GSL. How is he nowhere near the top? I'm not an obsessive fanboy of MC, but I do think he is one of the top players recently.

MC took out Parting 2-0 just a while ago. And MC has won 2 GSL's, along with a number of high placing finishes in other tournaments. And how can you leave out other high level tosses as of late? Oz, JYP, Puzzle, Brown all deserve to be ranked higher than Treme, Creator or Parting.

All right then, because you seem to genuinely believe your ranking: in what way is MC the only "specialist" on that list? Explain it to me. That implies he's only good at a couple of things, and bad at the others. Are you another of those people who think he can only 1- or 2-base all-in?

MC easily won more tournaments than all those 4 combined, also Oz and Puzzle (probably HerO) should be in that list, Treme is pretty much a joke with some random GSTL bo1 wins.

Yet a never before broadcasted Zenex toss who only played PvT in his matches and lost one of them clearly deserves to be hyped up to a higher than MC ranking.

That implies he's only good at a couple of things, and bad at the others. Are you another of those people who think he can only 1- or 2-base all-in? he is a timing attack specialist. he rarely is able to compete with anyone in drawn out macro games, and avoids those situations whenever possible, he all ins a lot, but he doesn't PLAN to all in, but he does when he knows he can get the win. he does base all of his play on timing attacks that can lead into an all in if he does enough damage, and since he is a timing attack specialist he often is able to deal enough damage with his superior control and game sense in order to all in for the win. for instance MC currently isn't anywhere near the top of PvT, because he is unable to bring the game to that snowballed late game that protoss' use to beat terran consistently. his PvZ and PvP are impressive right now only because they are timing attack based matchups for protoss in the current meta. now given that, MC is the best of the specialist protosses, and thats why he is on the list. creator is an innovator who has most of his problems set in nerves. he is super super strong in practice (players on prime have said they rarely ever beat him), and changed PvT completely, he found ways to improve upon JYP's PvZ which protosses in korea have picked up on and use now, his PvP is strong because he is a strong player in general, and so he is better all around than the specialist tosses. Genius took what creator did, and added his own ridiculously powerful all-in's and openings to them, which let's him become the best all around protoss in the game. so yeah Mc is good, but he's definitely NOT the top protoss anymore, and he's definitely not one of the top players in korea. though he is by far the best korean when it comes to traveling for foreign events, he doesn't let anything shake his mentality and that helps him overcome the other shaken and jetlagged koreans in foreign events.
