I wonder how Mr. Chae would feel if the semifinals were Genius vs. Alive and Gumiho vs. Parting. How do you market an Alive vs. Gumiho finals? Considering who they would have taken out to get there, I don't think it would be too bad. Imagine, Alive making finals with wins over MMA, MC and GuMiho making it with wins over MVP, Puzzle, DRG. If we looked at last November finals, it was Jjajki vs Leenock and both did not have big GSL accomplishments before hand. Although Leenock did win MLG providence. But since a lot of the big names made the Ro8 (MMA, MC, DRG), it is not like any players got lucky and got all no names along the way. | ||

Game One: reaper expand into 3 barracks, sees no command center building for Alive but then decides to move out his inferior army to the watch tower and got owned. Game Two: He basically got lucky after getting his proxy factory scouted. If Alive played safe or watched his mini map, he would've won. Game Three: Have BO win over his opponent but then dont have his army in place to kill a cloak banshee that he knew was coming. The oddest move yet was to move out with no siege instead of expanding, leaving his main base undefended from the banshee... Game Four: Awesome defense on the proxy marauder rush, saw Alive taking double gas and makes an engineering bay. He then only places 1 turret at a very off location, a little bit away from his main. He didn't even bother to make a turret at his expansion....cutting corners. A-moved his scv into a hellion drop... went for this fast mass nuke, skimping his army but then never did anything with them. Alive just basically scanned him saw so little unit, moved out and killed him before even making while going up to 4 bases... really disappointed in MMA. | ||

I'm a huge Zerg fanboy, and he looks like the best Zerg on the planet right now. If his ZvP is near as good as his ZvT then he's unstoppable from here on out. | ||
