All that being said Alive did still play great and has a good chance to get to the finals or even win this season  MMA has best TvZ, but he can lose in a mirror to guys like Polt and aLive his TvP is weaker than Gumiho, Polt or aLive I think. Overall he is the second most successful Terran, no doubt, but how much more danage aLive and Gumiho can do the upcoming weeks or months remains to be seen.... Polt lost to creator prime ... i don't think mma's tvp is weaker than polts. Polt's TvP isnt only better than MMA's TvP. its A LOT of better than MMA's TvP. At the same time, Creator does have really good PvT
Creator does have a good PvT but saying polts TvP is better then MMA's TvP is a joke.. just because polt has been beating protoss in the past and had a good winrate vs protoss.. doesnt mean Polt at the moment has the stronger matchup.. his been losing to every protoss in the GSL if no one has been watching.. i would rather have MMA skill sets then Polts by a mile.. to be honest i think Polt is extremely OVERRATED

Alive has shown much better play than MMA lately, and many predicted him to win. Absolutely no luck involved here. MMA just recently won a GSL, Blizzcup, and IEM Kiev all in pretty dominating fashion, except Blizzcup. MMA also boasts the best TvZ in the world. How has alive been showing much better play when the farthest hes gotten is round of 8 and he proceeded to lose 3-0 to leenock?
I'm talking strictly this year.
IEM Kiev was anything but dominant, MMA looked very weak against protoss opponents. Yeah he won in the end, but still, on paper he was totally uncontested in that tournament. He also barely scraped through his RO16 group, whereas Alive dominated his 4-0. Also if you look at the smaller events like ESV or just listen to people who follow the Korean scene closely you would know that Alive is one of the hottest players right now. His TvZ may still not be as good as MMAs, but TvT and especially TvP I would rate him above MMA in their current forms.

I don't think Gumiho can take out DRG or Parting so pretty sure either DRG or Parting will be in the finals. As for finals, I always prefer the TvZ matchup, since its classic, so I'm definately rooting for DRG vs Alive finals!

Man, those games sure torpedoed my liquibet hopes. If Gumiho or Alive makes it to the finals, Artosis is going to be unbearably smug. Looks like my dreams of a MMA vs DRG finals rematch is going to have to wait another season.
