I know nothing about the Korean side but I hope they're getting lots of love (and their Korean fanbase isn't reflected in the live audience most days)
If they weren't doing well they wouldn't be able to afford to increase the production values.
They get a lot of love from the foreign community as well, with the tickets they sell

Erm.. when the bosstoss himself said he'd rather not meet up with MKP... well...

Anyways, I dunno if the HotS rly need that Tempest to counter mutas when Protoss got the Phoenixes that doesnt require micro. ^_^
From nesteas play, and some other pro zergs, i get the feeling that they are frustrated with the matchup. Seems like there is a lot of desperation in some decisions. Need to go back to the drawing board professor!

2base muta is dangerous vs stargate from the start aswell ofcourse for pretty much the same reasons
genious played really well this game on belshir. great demonstration how to deal with mutalisk in general aswell as base race situations. very impressive but sad my nestea lost
Could this finally be a non-gimmicky stargate build?
Personally feel that it's only gimmicky when it's 2 stargates. If its one its just a pressure build
y, and even 2 stargate builds are somewhat OK, as long as you use them properly and don't blindly chronoboost mass air or hide air until you realize he already has antiair.

That's a huge boost...Stephano is not better than Nestea. You have no reason to believe that.
No reason? Stephano has been beasting it up hardcore lately, and Nestea not so much... Problem is Stephano doesn't compete with koreans often so it s hard to know precisely at what level he is compared to them. I look forward to the Iron Squid to see that. If he wins Iron Squid, it will be one more proof that he is one of the best (if not the best) zerg players in the world

that means it looks good for MC imo.
Last time MC encountered MKP in the GSL, MKP knocked his butt down after going down 0-2 he came back and won the series 3-2. and this is after MC was hot off of his second GSL title.
So no. I don't think it looks good for MC.
That was so long ago its hardly relevant now I think...
Precedent is always relevant.
MKP at the top of his game can beat MC at the top of his.
Their shape and metagame was totally different. And MC threw away the serie after leading 3-0 and if I remember correctly with a good lead in game 4 on Crevasse.
Not really relevant, or fruitdealer has a good shot at taking next gsl.
Genius build is smart, old toss stargates openings were sacrificing their air units once the zergs was defended with spores and queens. Here Genius keeps his 4-5 phoenixes alive, and if the zerg goes mutas he can add more, it's smart and logical. The fact that his opponents are choosing obvious mutas maps and are doing obvious mutas builds on them is also helping. They could write in the chat "hey, I'll go mass mutas next game" it would be the same.

The GSL is the only thing which counts, he can win as many foreign tournaments as he wants. Also, he didn't beat any good koreans at IPl for example
