6pooling terran twice in a row isn't even considered a close to viable build. Idra might as well have just left the game.

Pretty much. Really, any stupid build that beats Idra on a coin flip is pretty much OK. However, if Idra cheeses at any point, he is throwing the game, hates all his fan, the tournament and esports.
Except for his cat Hobbs. Idra always loves Hobbs.

Alive cheesed twice, Idra cheesed twice. I don't see a problem here other than zerg cheeses aren't as successful. xD

People will still tune in cause of the drama. Love him or hate him.

I love how nobody is talking about how aLive CHEESED HIM FIRST in the showmatch.
Hypocrites.

I can kind of see Idra's reasoning in deciding to 6 pool. He agrees to play in this showmatch with the expectation being that he and his opponent will play entertaining macro games. Then his opponent cheeses him out twice in a row. There's kind of an unspoken code that you agree not to cheese in a showmatch. When this code gets broken repeatedly, you lose all desire to play in the showmatch.
Also, shut up about no gg. It doesn't matter at all. You sound like elitist etiquette snobs at a country club when you complain about no gg.

Since Idra lost to it. Now the 11/11 is a perfectly balanced macro build used by the finest Korean pros.

the problem is that this is no punishment for idra, cause he doesnt care about wht other people think about him. and the other problem is that he will have no viewer loss on his stream, because everyone is watching just to see if he rages on the ladder too and that is sad in my eyes, because he generates money with this.

In my opinion the problem is with the game not the players. If you don't want to see 6 pools, 2 raxes, ect... then don't watch SC2.
The double standard is there because we know IdrA. It's one thing to cheese because you think it's got a good chance of working and another thing entirely to cheese because you don't give a fuck about the outcome and just want to get the game over with quickly. For most players you could make the case that they were doing the former, but this is IdrA we are talking about here and anyone who follows the scene knows it was the latter.

Oh i forgot if you cheesed first you had to get bashed right?
Idra really showed us how... annoying he can be.

Sorry, I misspoke. Just meant it wasn't like 6 pooling. Either way, both of Alive's strategies are legit and are designed to win. 6 pooling vs Code S player is throwing the games.

Someone in the other thread made the statement that "it isn't the players job to entertain us", and I wanted to express how wrong that is in case they read this. Sponsors pay the bills because the organizations advertise for them when people tune in to watch their content. People tune in to watch their content to be entertained because we are into whatever content the organization is putting out. If players do this shit, which is not entertaining, and people stop tuning in then sponsors stop paying for it and goodbye organizations who give out prize money to players, provide ROI for teams and sponsors, and entertain us with their content. So yes, it is the players job to entertain us, that is what professional sports is, entertainment.

You can play Poker and win with "legit" strats, or you can win with luck. Alive was playing extremely risky, if you scout what he is doing and respond properly, you easily defeat it. He was going to need Idra to not respond and not scout it to win. He was lucky Idra did neither well.
Now you could argue that since he won, the ends justify the means, and thus he looks brilliant, but what if he lost both of those games? Would you say "Except Idra was using legitimate strategies and Alive was all-inning and doing a bad job of it?"
Would we be all over Alive, accusing him of not caring, throwing the match, not coming to play a macro game ect?
