Like, it's a showmatch, he must be aware that the whole point is people want to see these games. Showing up and then deciding you don't actually want to play is really a big fuck you to everyone watching. It's hard to understand why he's even still doing this with that attitude. There is such double standard here it is ridiculous, if I was a mod I would be handing out bans for player bashing. Imagine if this had been a best of three and Alive's first two cheeses failed badly. Would we be all over Alive, accusing him of not caring, throwing the match, not coming to play a macro game ect? No, so why are we accusing Idra? All this proved is that Alive is a better cheeser than Idra, since all the games were cheese. It was just as much Alive's fault that the games were cheese as it was Idra's. And that is the facts. Idra did not show up and not want to play, Alive showed up to cheese, and Idra decided to cheese in response. Hate them both (and hate cheese) or hate neither. The double standard is ridiculous. In my opinion the problem is with the game not the players. If you don't want to see 6 pools, 2 raxes, ect... then don't watch SC2.

It's just selfish and disrespectful. Don't agree to play in a showmatch if you aren't planning on putting any effort into it. So Idra basically got cheesed twice and then said fuck it. Realistically he would've probably been cheesed out the last two games anyway... I don't understand how he did anything wrong.

If Coca got banished for months for a stupid mistake he didn't even realize and had to give up his Code S seed in the round of sixteen when he was a favorite to get DEEP into the tournament, then Boxer would have probably had Idra tied up in the Slayers Dungeon for at least three months. haha, if there is a Slayers Dungeon, I guess Coca is out now :D

IdrA not gging in a showmatch is just plain disrespectful. I hope Mr. Chae was watching and never invites IdrA back again.

Definatly. * IdrA 6Pooling on Crossfire? Possibly. * 4Gating in PvP on a map with a Ramp? * Not 4Gating on Tal'Darim in PvP? As you can see the slope is slippery and where do you draw the line? Worker Rush in a pro-level is definitely a thrown game for sure. 6 pool in a map that is not favorable for your race is acceptable. But 6 pool twice in a row, although it might not be a thrown game, is still quite insulting to viewers/organizers, especially in a show match. The rest can be argued that they are inferior strategic choices but still acceptable. The most important thing is the intention of the player.

If you dont understand the diference betwen Alive strat - sploit the weakness of his oponnent (been too greedy and dont scout) - and ofc, idra strat: dont give a fak and 6 pool, cos he have a got dinner to eat and 100 bucks to waste, for just 4 games that he played less then 10 min each. Do i need to prove you wrong? holy sh1t, really need to?

gg at a starcraft pro match doesn't mean gg. It's what it represent, like 2 MMA fighter beating the shit out of each other and hugging pos-fight as a sign of sportsmanship and respect.

He got stomped out of GSL and now can't even be bothered to play a showmatch, just take the 100 bucks and run. As I said before, I simply don't understand how this emotional manchild has fans. Its completely beyond me. I don't even the most die hard of die hard Idra fans could say Idra is anywhere near a good player at the moment. He's something like 1-18/1-19 in the year of 2012. That's awful. Incontrol, a dude who gets shit on by everyone for being the guy who brings down EG's talent, won two straight games in the IPL Arena. He already has more wins this year than Idra.

He has and still does struggle with stopping early game aggression, and it's shame. A while back I noticed that he had gotten much better at stopping styles that revolve around early pressure, but his mind-set seems to have taken a turn for the worst once again. Instead of identifying the different kinds of cheese/pressure and figuring out how to stop it, he looks at it as cheesy bullshit that isn't worth playing out. On ladder, that can make sense here and there, but he almost NEVER puts in the effort to stop these rushes, so when it comes to him in a serious match setting, he fails to deal with it appropriately. It's a real shame because this is the one gaping hole in his game. Once IdrA figures out how to properly deal with all of this early-game non-sense and safely make it to at least the mid-game 90% of the time, he will be back to the Code S level player we once knew. The return to the EG house will help him get his mind refocused, but the lack of crazy cheese and early pressure found only on Korean ladder will hurt. You might want to wake up from this fantasy where Idra is a Code S level player who only has trouble in the early game. Taeja 4-0'ed him in macro games.

It's not a double standard. The first game wasn't even cheese. Second game is semi-all in but so what? It's still a legitimate strategy. 6 pools vs a Code S player twice in a row is just throwing the games.

It's sarcasm because RPI is not a very difficult school to get into (or get a scholarship from), hence, he was being sarcastic when he said 'good school.' Arcanne was referring to his sarcasm as bm, probably in a joking manner cuz Arcanne is a former xSix guy himself
