Why would he when his opponent is willing to coin flip his way to victory? Cheese is good every once and a while, but three game shows that he only cares about an easy win. If Alive gets it, yay for him. I was pretty much done after the 3rd game, though. So... Hypotethical situation: If you have watched 500 replays of your opponent going 3 nexus before gateway in every single ZvT, would you play: A. A macro game B. NASL seems to be pretending this was a "real series? Are you blaming NASL because IdrA had a hissy fit? They announce the showmatch beforehand, how is it even slightly professional to start a broadcast with "oh, well IdrA vs aLive was shitty so we're going to show something else instead". I swear to god NASL get accused of stuff that doesn't even come close to rational thought so often. You make a forum post earlier in the day that says Today's IdrA vs. aLive show match has been cancelled. The reason being that IdrA did not put forth a reasonable effort and the games are not enjoyable for anyone. Instead, we will be showing you a live match between aLive and Sheth! It's not really a blame issue. It's just something that they could've done a bit better, with some quick thinking. Not really a major knock against NASL. It's short term publicity. If they stand up for themselves and enact some discipline, they I might be more inclined to keep watching.

Second game daybreak double reactor hellions, alive moved out with 13ish hellions, tried to hide it but idra went lucky scouting it. But he only had soon to be +1 lings and a spine, tryed to wall, but with spines, one building spine got roasted, then all lings died one shot followed by all drones at the natural. 3rd crossfire, idra 6 pools, alive want to mindgame idra, by placing a racks out of the scouting pattern. Idra chases workers with lings so he can wallin a marine at the natural, idra not blocking the cc and goes for roaches, speedless lings get chased down and 3 roaches arrive when a marauder just enters a bunker. (alive blocked idras natural with an ebay) Game 4 dual sight, U sixpoll? by alive, walling in and idra really 6 polling.

It is throwing the game. Comparing 2 fact reactor hellion after expanding compared to 6 pool shows how much some people understand the game. Yes 2fact reactor hellion is probably all-in on doing econ damage, but it isn't a cheese.

The problem then becomes what is a thrown game? * Naniwa Proberushing? Definatly. * IdrA 6Pooling on Dual Sight? Definatly. * IdrA 6Pooling on Crossfire? Possibly. * 4Gating in PvP on a map with a Ramp? * Not 4Gating on Tal'Darim in PvP? As you can see the slope is slippery and where do you draw the line? all contracts are rife with ambiguous terms. you could pre-arrange that a panel of judges could sit to analyze the replays or just leave it up to the tournament admins. even if the rule was extremely extremely sparingly enforced it would help prevent stuff like what just happened. to be clear, I'm not talking about a provision that would cut a player off for cheesing (come on, get real). I'm talking about a provision that would cut a player off where he obviously threw a game.

This is simply sad. I just wish he'd do what he wants to do, go to college if thats it, or be a serious pro gamer if thats what he wants to do. But I can't stand to watch someone spend their life doing something while at the same time talking shit about how that thing is worthless "SC2 is a terrible game" etc. . If money is your only goal, you're not going to have any joy in it, and you're not going to do well against those that do. he sort of is forced to play sc2. college? come on, idra does not fit there, I could never see him actually writing term papers etc. that is not who he is, he only does things on his conditions or not at all. that only works as long as you are in a leader position. if you are one of many, that mindset only leads to negative things. which is why korea is not the place to be for him. I thought he got a full-ride to some engineering college (forget the name and too lazy to look it up right now) and turned it down to go to Korea to play BW? RPI good school
