This is simply sad. He's said previously that before he left Korea last time that he had an email written to EG management to let them know that he was quitting SC... his mental state, as far can be judged from seeing him play recently, seems frighteningly similar to what we were seeing before he left. Makes one wonder if being back in Korea is making those thoughts come back. I just wish he'd do what he wants to do, go to college if thats it, or be a serious pro gamer if thats what he wants to do. But I can't stand to watch someone spend their life doing something while at the same time talking shit about how that thing is worthless "SC2 is a terrible game" etc. . If money is your only goal, you're not going to have any joy in it, and you're not going to do well against those that do.

It's a god damn show match, you don't just show up and lose as fast as possible so you can collect your money and leave. they assume the responsbilities of the players they invite. as if idra should be punished for accepting an invitation to a showmatch and choosing to play the way he wants. We're all disappointed we didn't see better games, but it's not idra's fault. people should root for other people, if they don't like the guy.

Leagues know approximately how likely a player is to pull this shit. Anyway while it may seem unfair that Idra even gets $100 for this I suspect his netprofit is negative if you factor in his future contract negotiations and sponsorship deals. Idra's worth is plummeting very fast at the moment.

Np if you play terran game three is actually worth checking out to see how alive countered the 6-pool. Otherwise the series was lackluster

They announce the showmatch beforehand, how is it even slightly professional to start a broadcast with "oh, well IdrA vs aLive was shitty so we're going to show something else instead". I swear to god NASL get accused of stuff that doesn't even come close to rational thought so often. You make a forum post earlier in the day that says Today's IdrA vs. aLive show match has been cancelled. The reason being that IdrA did not put forth a reasonable effort and the games are not enjoyable for anyone. Instead, we will be showing you a live match between aLive and Sheth! It's not really a blame issue. It's just something that they could've done a bit better, with some quick thinking. Not really a major knock against NASL.
