If he went for infestors at the timing, he would have just straight up died. Before the infestors popped, that base would have already gone down and he would be fighting with useless lings as the buffer against a +2 Toss. | ||

Terran does not have the same problem, your production is waiting at home, so it's less all in. However as Terran your attack is on a timer if you don't reinforce. What works for a Protoss 2 base timing attack is killing a hatchery, then back up with all your units and expand yourself, but you can't afford to lose everything. And Zerg rarely lets you get away when you flee, so you kinda hope to kill him. | ||
