The OP said himself he can't update the LR, so Seeker can just look into this thread get some valuable feedback (read: the nice banner at the top) and make his own thread, taking into the feedback he got from the discussion in this thread and then make his own OP on Monday. Job done. The lazier thread starter will redirect traffic to the other thread. It happened once with me, where I was ninja'd half way.. I believe during the World Championships team league Of course, I don't know what would happen if both OP's refuse to back down. I guess TL mods will decide? Meh I just think its rude as heck the way he puts this out here. If he wanted to give suggestions he could have sent the template for this to Seeker in private instead of posting a big rant about it here.

I realize that perhaps OP didn't mean to offend anyone, but I can't help but feel that it's a bit tactless to just make an entire LR thread as an example of how you think things should be done. Yeah, yeah, thin-skinned, easily offended, etc., but I can see how this is rather embarrassing to Seeker. You guys need to try empathizing a bit: He puts time and effort into LR threads, and, according to him, people seem fine with them (i.e not really many complaints), and then suddenly here's someone posting a LR thread like an indirect, passive-aggressive criticism instead of just PMing Seeker with suggestions. Creating this thread with the intent to criticize has the added consequence of people posting in here and everything becoming a big criticism-fest. Don't get me wrong - there's nothing inherently wrong with collective constructive criticism and I believe we should try to make everyone happy and compromise on how the LR threads look, but it's better that Seeker gets a chance to come forward and ask for suggestions (perhaps being prompted by several PMs) instead of some guy making a thread to just force it down his throat.

Are Seeker's threads a bit cluttered? Yeah, maybe. Are you a douche? Definitely, yes.

The LR threads of Seeker, MrCon, etc. are unbelievably cluttered with these ridiculous themes that have little-to-nothing to do with the games themselves other than to provide a cartoonish atmosphere that makes it difficult to take the GSL seriously simply by its association with the content of said threads. The formatting and presentation with this thread perfectly aligns with the professionalism the GSL exudes. No one is paid by the GSL to format LR threads on Teamliquid. (neither is anyone paid by TL to do LR threads...) You want a nicely presented thread, you do it on your own. Reserve the thread a day or two before and make sure you can update it on the day itself. Otherwise don't expect anything.

Tastosis have a large amount of professionalism but they do also crack nerdy jokes throughout the cast. The GSL is not some stiff-necked company dude ![]()

It looks to me like GOM are trying to up the professionalism across the board, and it seems like Tastosis have changed thing a little bit this season to accommodate that.
