MC, like HuK, is dependent on preparation, mood, and surprise. Both seem to be micro intensive, build order intensive, timing attack intensive protosses that either destroy everything or fail hard.
After HSC i think MC won't have any more surprises in PvZ so he will struggle to find new timings against leenock and i dont think his lategame will hold up to leenock.
MC can still definitely beat forGG especially considering both of them have a higher-than-normal chance to do crazy builds and we could see a really fucked-up double-edged match. and MC can beat supernova because I feel like supernova's tvp is stylistic and predictable.
MC and forGG are my favorites but i would not be surprised at all if MC bombs out
MC defends cheese/one base shenanigans very well in general and usually he loses because he does some silly all in. That might give him an edge vs ForGG.
There needs to be a separate liquibet on how ForGG play's his first Code S games.
Seems no one thinks hes capable of a long term macro game which is absurd considering the amount of mental/phyiscal fortitude to pull even a timing attack off in BW

haha. But in all seriousness, all 4 players are great players that I don't actually root for many players these days just because I like almost every player in the GSL now and don't want to root against them by rooting for someone else. It's amazing just how intense GSL has gotten.

I have easily spent 20+ hours watching forgg on his stream to get a good idea of his skill. The guy is a god damn killer. People tend to focus on his rushes because he does them a lot on ladder, but I have also seen him do macro games. I have seen him stomp all over people like Ganzi and Polt and naniwa in macro games. He is just as good at macro games in all three matchups as at rushes. He is near the level of MVP in my opinion.
With that said he could lose. This group has the best protoss and top three zerg with amazing tvz. Even the best player(MVP) would have a hard time getting out of this group. With that said I expect him to crush faces as his lack of exposure in tournaments gives him a massive advantage in preparation.
MC tweeted 3 hours ago that he's in Korea now. Does that mean he absolutely has zero time to prepare? Maybe Marineking and him thought up of builds on the plane or maybe he slept.
