I agree he missed a few things, but i don't think it is so bad that it ruins the cast. Keep it up TB ! i love the tournaments, and so did 40k other people

Personally I enjoy the fact that there are different caster combos/archetypes/personalities out there. I enjoy tastosis aswell but think it would be kinda boring if they casted everything (or every other caster tried to emulate their style), no matter how good they are. Varity ftw! The only negative thing I could comment on was the quality of the twitch stream (which was....twitchy) but I think that was out of the organizers hands, especially considering the amout of viewers.

First time I heard TB cast I thought he was a loser talking shit not knowing anything about the game. Later on as I thought about it with a more mature thought process and checked out his other work I realized this guy actually is a fucking internet hero. If you think about it TB never fucking claimed to be the best analytical caster or anything like it as far as I can recall. And he has had some rough time with the SC-Community treating him as shit, for instance the beef with IdrA and stuff. I was one of the pitchforkers after TB. It's time for people to fucking realize that TB does this for US. It doesn't matter who fucking casts it and if he misses drops you dipshits, without him you wouldn't see any of this fucking shit. You guys fucking disgust me, go DIAF. TB you fucking rock, keep doing your shit and keep being a great fucking man and contributing to the community, I for one fucking respect you for enduring the fucking bullying and that you keep supporting even though people are assholes. Outside of actual pro-players and Artosis, Apollo has the best analysis in the industry. Keep doing what you do man, 40k+ people should say enough no ? Can't make every one happy, but you sure made alot of em happy, including the players. Huge respect, for i got what i expected play by play with TB and analysis with Apollo ... like always when these guys duo cast. Also great games just freaking great games. I do so love skill/potential before popularity and it showed.

I kinda agree that maybe letting apollo do the observing would be a good idea and I also noticed some comments that were pretty off, but I still had a blast. But then again Im sure Id listen to TB reading the telephone book and enjoy it. Youre awesome and give this community so much =) Im sure your "casting skills" will improve / are improving as well. Keep fighting, thank you <3

Maybe he should join TB for a bit of voice acting training =D Great tournament, will be a must watch for me in the future =] for a 12 hour cast however bringing on other casters with TB/Apollo of course being the main team maybe not the worst idea? Of course its entirely TBs project and he has proven he goes a long way to improve it and will continue to do so and if he wants to cast it who can blame him. There will always be some who like a different caster better or a different format or overlay or whatever, which is ok cause it keeps organizers on their toes. If you dont watch however cause you think Apollos analysis is not good enough? so be it.

You and Apollo are doing an excellent job - the number of viewers says it all. Looking forward to the next edition!!

You miss several engagements, drops, etc. (if it's the game I'm thinking of anyway) whilst you watch this big battle in the middle when, really, that's not the main focus. Another game, I think anyway, which I can't remember who played so I apologise, I noticed 2 hatches being sniped by drops whilst you focused on a hatchery being built. I really don't want to be harsh. It's really nice that you've been practising and, honestly, it shows. You've certainly improved a lot. It honestly only seems to happen when there's one big engagement going on whilst a lot of tiny things (drops, etc.) happen at the same time. Also, the worst observing moments seemed to happen towards the end of the first day so, to be fair, you were probably just tired and overworked. I can understand that casting and observing at the same time can be hard (to say the least) but if you can't observe competently whilst casting then you shouldn't be observing, especially when you have someone with you who will probably be better. I honestly don't mean anything rude by this. You're an entertaining caster, even if you do have your faults, and you obviously put your heart and soul into your work. And I personally really appreciate it. You're very dedicated and it's nice to see someone put so much effort into something (let alone the amount of money you personally contributed towards the prize pool). I just think you should stick to what you're good at (casting) and let someone else do the observing if you're not as good as them. EDIT: Second game I was thinking of is Thorzain vs Stephano on Daybreak, I believe, from Day 1. EDIT2: Thorzain vs Stephano on Antiga from Day 1, sorry. So he is supposed to divert attention away from a big engagement, potentially game ending engagement, to focus on a drop that might be easily cleaned up? It would be nice if there were say 2 observers and the 2nd one could pull up a picture in picture (PiP) when a drop is happening during a big battle or 2 drops are happening at the same time so we dont have to miss them but i imagine this would be very difficult to implement and co-ordinate on the fly so both observers arent looking at the same thing. I think I remember TB added some PiP post production in a couple of games he cast and it was really cool.

Looking forward to the next edition!! i completely agree. Sure tastosis is my favorite casting duo, but a good analogy is food. Steak is my favorite food, but do i eat it every night? of course not. i like tons of other food, and couldnt live off just steak. its nice to have a variety, and in terms of casting duos that arent tastosis, apollo and TB are way up there, love the casting a lot guys, keep it up, look forward to your next event : )

I can think of a way to do this live actually. Holy shit, I'm really shocked no-one has done that before, it's actually not that hard to implement if you have the right capture hardware. I've had an amazing idea, I wonder if I can implement that for SCI5, it seems possible! On the subject of priorities. Showing a drop while no other engagement is happening is of course, what you should be doing. We generally do not miss those, it's very rare, Apollo is looking out for them on his screen and points them out immediately even if I don't see them straight away. If a drop is going on while a big engagement is happening, I will usually choose not to show it. All that matters in that situation imho, is that you know what effect the drop had. You don't need to see 8 marines shooting a building if there's a big fight going on in the centre.

I enjoy the caster combination of TB and Apollo quite a bit. When they cover live sports on TV they also miss key plays from time-to-time, but they use instant replay to 'save' themselves. --Chegg
