He skipped Colossi as soon as his entire army died to mutas because you can't defend mutas on Dual Sight when going fast colossi off 2 base.

Hopefully. Jinro's at home it seems, so maybe a few of the oGs guys are there instead

Wolf really has no idea how to play high level zerg, using the banneling on stalkers was a good choice for the postion july was in. Him screaming WHYY!!!! was really frusterating to listen to.

Sure, he looks amazing slapping down players like Ret and Sheth in foreign tournaments, but in the GSL, he never seems to look as good, and it's probably not just because he magically has bad days in the GSL.
Of course, I'd love to see HerO advance from this group, but I'm just trying to be realistic in how I evaluate HerO's skill. i've watched him slay the best z's in the world on his stream.. he hardly ever loses a pvz from home. i'd chalk it up to nerves or that he has never seen such a build out of 3 base.. really fricken greedy play from july paid off Really? What players does he beat on his stream? I haven't watched his stream in a while, but if he regularly performs well against top Korean Zergs on the ladder then it definitely must indeed be nerves. I hope he can shrug off this likely loss and advance from the group. He literally just doesn't lose to zerg on the ladder. Losira comes to mind as someone he beats consistently.
He does lose aswell, particulary to Curious.

Not being prepared for mutas is like not being prepared for DTs. Really hard to come back from.

That's the silliest thing I've seen in this thread so far. July played a pretty safe/standard muta opening and he was blind countering? He actually scouted with an overseer, unlike Hero (who went prism before obs) O_o

No he didn't. Hero failed to read the situation when he saw the lair tech.

That's a bit of a biased way of looking at it =p

It wasn't so much of a blind counter - it was coin flipping by hero july flipped the biggest coin of all. the gates he scouted could have easily gone into a quick gw timing that would have smashed what he was doing (no spines, either) and it's not like he saw the pylon to know some kind of pressure was going to head to the third

Well trading banes for stalkers or any units for that matter is a good idea when you're 4-5 base Zerg against a Protoss up against the Ropes.. so july was doing just fine.
It may have looked worse because his speed banes weren't done when he first engaged can't blame him for that.

It's hero who dropped the ball there, they both knew opponent's tech, that's not a blind counter. Nerves got hero perhaps.

I'm getting more convinced that Hero was trying to hit that timing with 4 gate warp prism pressure, but he completely misread the tech and assumed infestors instead of mutas.
why would he assume infestors when mutas are x15077376 times more common in the korean zvp metagame? doesn't make sense.
