Yeah...lets not start overrating everybody now. Remeber what happened to Naniwa and Sase?

No?

You guys place way too much weight into bo1s over online play.

"you guys" way to generalize.
Who else failed to qualify for Code A? Yea pretty much every foreigner

Exactly my point. By you guys I mean pretty much 90% of TL, in that they see a foreigner win a few games and the next thing you know they're good enough to compete with the top Koreans or at least get Code S.

Then what do you know, they go to Korea, usually get gifted a spot into the GSL, and flop out hard.

Now come on, ThorZain is around for an eternity and showed consistent results throughout. He is well-respected by the korean players.

Man, nowhere am I saying TZ is bad or mediocre. I personally think he's the best foreigner terran, and probably a top 5 foreigner overall.
It just pisses me off that people think those games are somehow proof that he's Code S class or can compete with MVP. People said the same about Naniwa, and he's something like 1-10 in Korea, or Stephano, who was hyped at the best zerg in the world by people on this site and then did so-so in comparion when he went over.

Lol yeah even Tasteless was like "Naniwa is the best Protoss in the world" and all I could do was so LOLNO over and over to my computer. No matter what foreigners get massively overrated just for a win or 2, and it gets pretty pathetic sometimes. It will continue happening until every foreigner moves to Korea and they all get their turn to be stomped in Code A, and then MAYBE people will stop over-reacting to small things.

Thorzain all-killed IM. But since Mouz coming from losers bracket, needs to win another match to secure the title.

Now HasuObs lost to Yoda. Currently it is Bigs vs Yoda.

I am sorry but beating Koreans consistently without the benefit of training in Korea is not a small thing at all, which is why I rank the achievements of ThorZain or Stephano pretty highly. Going 50-50 is already extraordinary.

Sure it's good, but it's not best zerg in the world material for that matter.

I agree with your statements as to what constitutes a big thing, only problem is that there's not enough of a sample of their performance in the GSL to say consistency. I mean... Stephano played really well, but 4 games is just 4 games...

Having a ton of Broodlords is just step 1. One needs absolutely excellent positioning and unit control in order to really make them work.
