Tell him to win a tournament if he wants a spot.
He can't be sent around to every foreign tournament like Naniwa is. GunieaPig has never been to a MLG, Dreamhack, or any tournament that he could qualify to get into the Blizzard Cup. Except the top three GSL rankings.

How can you blame him? He is pissed off and have no motivation to play after getting cheesed out of the tournament.
That last match means literally nothing for both of the players and shouldn't even have been played. It's a stupid format. It is far beyond most people at TL to understand human emotion. We want PROFESSIONALISM in ESPORTS, fuck how the players feel. -_- Surprised to see a post like this coming from you. Obviously I disagree here. While I think the forum has greatly overreacted, I still wouldn't shy away from calling naniwa's behavior disrespectful to Gomtv, fans, and other professionals. If anything it is disrespectful of Gom to make players play worthless matches. There was no reason at all for that game to played. After that a bunch of forum people start complaining like there is no tomorrow. And you talk about professionalism? In what sport does a player or a team send out their a-team to play a match that doesnt matter??? We see this behaviour in every sport almost so I really dont understand the mass of haters. Uhum? In every sport teams play matches that "doesn´t mean anything" but the pride in winning. That´s the very foundation of all sports. You seriously think the teams in the football world cup play to win some prizemoney? Even if a crappy team loses all their games they will still fight like crazy to take at least one win with them home, to show their fans that they tried their very best. You obviously don´t watch sports, or at least doesnt understand it. Since you bring up football we can compare it to champions league. Last stage of group play when teams are already qualified you always see teams change their entire line-up for reserves. I guarantee you they don't do it for the fans....
I think you´re missing the point. The "reserves" play to win. In fact they want to win really bad. It´s the COACH that realizes he need to save the best players for the later stages. The coach knows the players will play to win every game, so he has to make the decision for the players.

plz stop with the football comparisons. At the end of a seasons, when a team has nothing to play for, they will field a team with b-players/youngsters. Football is a team sport and those players have everything to play for even if the team doesnt. They are playing their best to increase their chances of getting in to the a-team.

Plus a lot of Korean players don't have rich sponsors that can fly them everywhere to take part in these tournaments in the first place.

In my opinion, IdrA 's rage was always entertaining. I LOLED every times except for the "not gg" of him with BoxeR in NASL. Based on his stream we can see in real life he is a nice guy.
Naniwa 's rage was just stupid and not entertaining at all.

Should Stephano be punished for chatting yesterday? No. Should he be reprimanded? Yes. Should Naniwa be punished for doing a bad strategy? No. Should he be reprimanded?. Yes. So many have shifting standards based on their like or dislike of certain players. Dislike him all you want but be objective. "Bad strategy." Yes, clearly probe rushing and taking hands off keyboard is "bad strategy." I'm not a fan of ad hominem attacks, but your logic is so flawed that it's depressing to Swedes resort to such bullshit arguments to defend Naniwa. In case you missed my point, what Naniwa did isn't bad strategy. It's throwing a match. Please go back to the GSL rulebook and look up the consequences for that. I admitted to sugarcoating it. I haven't said what Naniwa did wasn't wrong. What do you think about Stephano? I don't find anything about throwing matches in the rulebook, please direct me to them. It was an bad and unsavory thing to do, I agree, but was it illegal? I dont think anyone said it was illegal and i dont think he will or really should get reprimanded. But it was a shitty thing to do to many different ppl, the tournament organizers , his fans, his team , his opponent. It was just a bitch move on so many different levels.

Why does it matter what the people in the MVP thinks of this? They are obvious biased as they didn't even let naniwa practise with them when they were in the same team. People have been shitting on Naniwa forever, but when other people does disrespectful stuff people here acts like it's a totally different matter.
I totally support Naniwa for his decision, even if I would like to see a rematch between Nestea - Naniwa.

The tank died from zergling fire. Heh.
MMA has some great control, but I don't like that he keeps these small groups of marines around the map.

Holy shit! Baneling range is fucking awesome. Great detonation from Leenock getting all the way to the end of the marine ball.
