I don`t get comments like these....his play style is so predictable and greedy of course they will do a timing against him. I am pretty sure all the players who beat him today are better macro players as well.

What naniwa did was about as serious as type gg prematurely. and that happens alot. People need to stop be so damn dramatic about this. Its like Naniwa comitted a crime and that you feel violated or something. Get over it!!

We want PROFESSIONALISM in ESPORTS, fuck how the players feel. -_- Surprised to see a post like this coming from you. Obviously I disagree here. While I think the forum has greatly overreacted, I still wouldn't shy away from calling naniwa's behavior disrespectful to Gomtv, fans, and other professionals.

That last match means literally nothing for both of the players and shouldn't even have been played. It's a stupid format. No hes afraid hes going to lose again and hes a poor sport. After trash tallking nestea he totally bitched out of a game he pretty much hyped up himself at the press conference. Im betting if he was guaranteed to go through the tournament instead of out he may have done the same thing, because hes afraid to lose after all the hype about the match (but maybe not because he woudl have had more confidence if he won all his games)

If the game hadn't been played, noone would have minded. If he'd done some half-assed all-in and then gg'd as soon as it was repelled, noone would have minded. I agree it was disrespectful, but I think it'd be easy to overreact to something just because he took the most direct route to what he wanted to do, which is not play the game. I'm assuming here that he tried to forfeit the game and wasn't allowed to do so. If he didn't try to do that first and just decided to be smart on camera, then that's a bit shit.

That was so much better than a meaningless game with nothing on the line between two people who would rather be at home angry and frustrated. Just a question does Gom allow players to forfeit matches? Because that is essentially what nani did.
