If Polt wins this then we go to tiebreakers.

GSL uses head to head rules not tiebreakers.

Head to Head wouldnt work since they all beat each other so they would have to do a tiebreaker.

I kinda get Naniwa`s frustation. Koreans cheesing all the time is so boring and sad.

I don`t get comments like these....his play style is so predictable and greedy of course they will do a timing against him. I am pretty sure all the players who beat him today are better macro players as well.

Does Naniwa still have a up/down spot from his MLG?
If so will GOM remove it from him? Anyone knows?

Stop blaming Naniwa. This tournament's format is horrible.
A virtuous act is performed habitually, and not once from incentive alone.

i find it understandable that nani threw the game, it didn't change anything in the group and the pricemoney for 4th and 5th place is the same. the game shouldn't have been played.

If people whine about naniwa not finishing a useless game, then players should be forced to never gg in a game but play it out until the last building is destroyed. Because otherwise I will complain to their teams beause I want to see long games played to the end yada yada yada.

What naniwa did was about as serious as type gg prematurely. and that happens alot. People need to stop be so damn dramatic about this. Its like Naniwa comitted a crime and that you feel violated or something.

Get over it!!

Every time a top Korean loses a game recently there's a bunch of people speculating that the game was thrown. Now someone actually does throw a game and there are dozens of people defending it.

Nice overreaction by you forum guys.

How can you blame him?
He is pissed off and have no motivation to play after getting cheesed out of the tournament.

That last match means literally nothing for both of the players and shouldn't even have been played. It's a stupid format.

It is far beyond most people at TL to understand human emotion.

We want PROFESSIONALISM in ESPORTS, fuck how the players feel. -_-

Surprised to see a post like this coming from you. Obviously I disagree here.

While I think the forum has greatly overreacted, I still wouldn't shy away from calling naniwa's behavior disrespectful to Gomtv, fans, and other professionals.

No hes afraid hes going to lose again and hes a poor sport. After trash tallking nestea he totally bitched out of a game he pretty much hyped up himself at the press conference. Im betting if he was guaranteed to go through the tournament instead of out he may have done the same thing, because hes afraid to lose after all the hype about the match (but maybe not because he woudl have had more confidence if he won all his games)

If Naniwa had asked for a forfeit and been allowed to do it, noone would have minded.

If the game hadn't been played, noone would have minded.

If he'd done some half-assed all-in and then gg'd as soon as it was repelled, noone would have minded.

I agree it was disrespectful, but I think it'd be easy to overreact to something just because he took the most direct route to what he wanted to do, which is not play the game. I'm assuming here that he tried to forfeit the game and wasn't allowed to do so. If he didn't try to do that first and just decided to be smart on camera, then that's a bit shit.

No respect to viewers, producers, casters and anyone else involved in making this tournament a success.

If there were betting lines out of these matches it's absolutely unacceptable regarding that as well. I doubt Naniwa researched that so it's morally the same decision.

+1's aren't allowed so here's me saying I agree.

That is a joke. I hope people share their feelings with @QuanticGaming

Good point, I told them i supported his strategy.

I'm still laughing. That was so much better than a meaningless game with nothing on the line between two people who would rather be at home angry and frustrated.

Just a question does Gom allow players to forfeit matches? Because that is essentially what nani did.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Quantic just dropped Naniwa. That was embarrassing and downright disrespectful.
