that was fucking disrespectful to everyone, even if he wasnt gonna make it through, he could have atleast played a real game for the fans. Doing that shit is a slap in the face to gom.

i really hope naniwa gets destroyed in code s next season. always has this unnecessary defeated attitude whenever he loses and its starting to piss me off. its just not healthy for someone of his standing - one of the top foreigners playing in korea - to be like this in any capacity.

Wow you guys are fucking morons, it's not "disgusting" behaviour, it's not even disrespectful, put yourself in his shoes for a moment and stop being cuntbags. He went 0-3 in a huge tournament and gets eliminated and is then forced to play a game that doesn't matter. He does not play this game to entertain you so stop being spastics.

A few pages back someone actually said they hope it's the end of his Starcraft career.. like seriously?

lol i dont know why they would make him play a useless game, im sure naniwa was not in the right state of mind to play a show match an hour after being eliminated from a tournament hes spent the last month of his life preparing for.

Nani doesn't give a single fuck.

And neither do I.

Love his attitude, pointless match.

If there were betting lines out of these matches it's absolutely unacceptable regarding that as well. I doubt Naniwa researched that so it's morally the same decision.

GSL has never before played games that didnt matter. I dont see the fault in what Naniwa did.

He played in the tournament, the tournament was over for him and his opponent. The result has no effect on who goes through or who goes out. MC arguably not trying so Stephano got knocked out is more significant than this situation.

You just gave Nazgul the best counter argument. MC played his absolute butt off when he had nothing to gain.

please explain

given this format, i cannot see how at any time losing a game could be "good" for a player

was there really a moment yesterday where mc could throw a match and increase someones chances to get knocked out but he is not knocked out? or what? how does that work?

and what actually happened if you dont mind filling me in

+1's aren't allowed so here's me saying I agree.

That is a joke. I hope people share their feelings with @QuanticGaming

Good point, I told them i supported his strategy.

I'm still laughing. That was so much better than a meaningless game with nothing on the line between two people who would rather be at home angry and frustrated.

I hope GOM learns from this tournament and never hosts a BO1 tournament again. It has only made for bad games and is incredibly frustrating to watch.

I don't give a shit about Nani's actions that last game. I thought this was fucking hilarious. In all this seriousness of sc2 sometimes This is shit I like. Huk's hearts, Idra's premature gg's Nani's throw away of a useless game. It's FUN. I feel people who take personal offense to this take things too seriously.

Then you don't vote, because nobody wants to know "how many people don't care" lol.

Although i rather would've seen a serious Nani vs Nestea rematch im pretty sure that Nani was in the mind set of just wanting to get the hell out of there and train or something.

The naniwa haters are just twisting it to make him look worse than he really is.

I'd rather see a cool game between nani and nestea then this crap. Eventhough it doesnt make a difference in the tournament, a cool game is always nice to watch.

Naniwa bet on Nestea's 6D rush, so he thought "when I got his main, I have 1 more probe advantage........."

Wow. Naniwa makes me sick. Between him and Idra I'm sure many Koreans believe most western pros are BM.

Honestly I think this is a bigger deal than the Coca/Byun thing, this happened during a live GSL broadcast. I hope Naniwa gets punished by somebody. Way to represent your new team that is paying you to live in a foreign country playing videogames professionally.

No it's not, you can't even compare it.

Yeah WTH...
This did not benefit Naniwa AT ALL... (AFAIK)
He someone paid him to do it then it is worse than coca-byun
However he just thought it is a useless match so he threw it

The full story of Coca-Byun was that they just wanted to play out the series for practice - for them, too, it was useless (no GSL seed up for grabs). It's actually pretty similar - I'm sure if Naniwa were in a Korean team he'd be punished.
