Contrary to popular belief Stephano is not from the States, any mindless spam asserting otherwise after this time (19:48 KST/ 5:48 AM EST/ 10:48 GMT) will meet a moderator response. We have enough confusing spam posting in LR threads these days. Lets try to keep the love for everyone's favourite French zerg reasonable. And as always: - No player bashing. - No caster bashing. - No balance whining. Enjoy the games.

I don't know, he seems to often lose the first game of a serie then proceeds to win the last two games. But I agree, pretty tough group, it's a good opportunity to gain some more respect.

1.- MVP (MVP is on a total roll I don't see him lower than 2nd place in the worst case) 2/3.- HerO (same as MVP he's on fire, just not as hot, he could be 3rd but 2nd seams more possible) 2/3.- MC (this one is tricky, it will all matter wether he can beat MVP and/or HerO, I don't see him losing vs DRG or Stephano if he plays at his best) 3/4.- DRG (weakest korean in the group imo, he could snatch 2 or 3 wins depends if his play is at the best, with luck making it out) 5.- Stephano (he is really good and all but he's up against HerO, MVP, MC and DRG, I don't see him making it out)

As much as I love MC, I think this game comes down to 2 deciding factors: 1) If MVP decides to go for a Marine/tank push 2) If MC decides to go for a 2base Warp Gate push Either of them will be incredibly hard for the opponent to stop. This map is a pretty easy one to defend the natural, though. So if either of them goes for a 1 or 2-base push the opponent will have an easier time defending than normal. It's normally Terran favoured, but both MC and MVP have very different ways of playing (MC having the BOSSMODE style, and MVP having the Marine/Tank play). hero <Daybreak> Stephano HerO is just a level above Stephano at PvZ, and on this Protoss-favoured map Stephano does not have much chance in my estimation. Stephano is really good, but he plays ZvP really standard. And HerO doesn't let you play standard. MVP <Tal'Darim Altar LE> DongRaeGu MVP has probably the best TvZ in the world, while DRG was knocked out of Code S by Terrans. Also, MVP is the Game Genie Terran. The map doesn't really favour either of them particularly. MC <Calm Before the Storm> hero Personal biases aside, this seems pretty much MC favoured. MC has always had HerO's number before, 2-0ing him at Orlando. I feel like HerO has a very cutesy style for PvP. Cutesy does not work against MC. MC devours cutesy play for breakfast, then moves on to Code S Terrans for lunch. But again, it's PvP, and it's on Calm Before the Storm. I feel like Phoenix would work very well on this map, as well as Warp Prisms and Fast expands. All of these except possibly the last one favour HerO. But still, I'm going with my heart, especially after seeing MC demolish MVP_Vampire on this map in the KSL. Stephano <Dual Sight 1.1> MC The map favours Stephano greatly. Normally I would go with MC. Stephano is a rising star. Going with Stephano. If he can stop a 2base all-in then he will win. As much as I hate it the game will revolve around some kind of 2base all-in from MC. Incidentally, I think a Sentry Warp Prism attack, Forcefielding the ramp would work quite well. hero <Shakuras Plateau 2.0> DongRaeGu DRG's best matchup is now ZvP, according to his interviews, and he 2-0d MC and HerO in the past. However, Shakuras is still a Protoss favoured map. If HerO can play it smart, harassing DRG while taking his third at the back of his main and protecting it with cannons etc, while abusing Blink Stalkers/Warp Prisms like MC did vs IdrA at Orlando, HerO can win. Maybe. Going with DRG. Stephano <Shakuras Plateau 2.0> MVP Sorry, Stephano fans. He's gonna get rolled. This is Shakuras, and this is MVP, and this is TvZ. MC <Crossfire SE 1.1> DongRaeGu There have been a grand total of 8 games played on PvZ Crossfire SE 1.1 There is a current winrate of 50%, if you click on "game list" rather than "main info". DRG has better ZvP than MC, especially considering that MC has already lost on this map once vs Line with Mutas. If DRG reaches a Muta flock, MC is dead. __________________________________ Those were my rational decisions. What I want to happen is MC to win all his matches, but apart from that I don't mind. All the contestants are AMAZING!
