Contrary to popular belief Stephano is not from the States, any mindless spam asserting otherwise after this time (19:48 KST/ 5:48 AM EST/ 10:48 GMT) will meet a moderator response. We have enough confusing spam posting in LR threads these days. Lets try to keep the love for everyone's favourite French zerg reasonable. And as always: - No player bashing. - No caster bashing. - No balance whining. Enjoy the games.

Stephano has 71% wr in gm while idra has 54. That should be a pretty good clue to how ridiculously good Stephano actually is.

Barely in the top 200 with a %54 winning percentage yet is the best player in the world.

Stephano goes speed first, and idra was too complacent because NA/EU terrans don't punish hatch first very often.

Oh ladder means a lot it just really means MVP is bad due to that low win %. Damn didn't realize it was so low what a nooby. In honesty though I hate how much people are putting on ladder win rate. Stephano's good there is no doubt but ladder isn't a way to say "he's easily one of the best players in the world look at his korean domination". If he gets completely dominated today it won't surprise me but it also won't surprise me if he does advance. We shall see how he fares vs all these top tier koreans today ![]() I mean MVP/MC/Hero/DRG will be insanely hard and I think those 4 are better then stephano imo. Ofcourse ladder means something the top korean players spending hours and hours practising on the ladder. If ladder didnt mean nothing they would just play custom. Just a fact before MMA and DRG got known they were a ladder beast with big win %. And in korea its actually very rare to see zergs with high win % on the korean GM

And in korea its actually very rare to see zergs with high win % on the korean GM Sorry buddy I said it doesn't mean much, not that is doesn't mean anything. Learn to read. Judging a player based on where he is on the Korean ladder is silly. You have players who aren't that accomplished in the top 10 and have players like MVP/Nestea (could go on) who are no where near. Go by tournament results, Stephano has done pretty well but compare his accomplishments against the players in the Blizzard Cup and keep in mind foreign tournaments are much easier than Korean tournaments, that is a fact. Stephano is one of the best foreigners but he's going up against the best Koreans who are considered the best players in the world. I'd say Stephano is the worst player in his group I don't expect him to advance.

If MVP is going to lose it's going to be against MC/Hero, though he owned both of them at MLG Providence. Then again DRG has had a ton of practice time and shit loads of VODs of MVP TvZ.
