No not at all, IM is bad at team leagues because mvp and Nestea suck in them. In a best of 9 series, I don't see any team beating slayers because the depth they have on their team. They could go to the 9th game and still have a top Code A player playing.

The reason that he beat Ret is because Ret is extremely greedy and Toodming's cheese got the best of him. If Toodming would have played a Zerg that is not as greedy as Ret such as Leenock or Nestea, maybe even Idra since he has not been as greedy lately, he would have gotten roflstomped.

After like 10 wins they should give SlayerS the bonus pool they racked up and retire them from the league.

Note, your original comment was, 'the Chinese got destroyed.' I'm merely stating that it's factually incorrect, unless you and I have a different understanding on the definition of "destroyed."
No one is arguing that Toodming is a better player than Ret or any of those other names you listed.
@Ruscour: Yeah, Xigua played WAY below his usual level at IEM.

Even if TyLoo doesn't win... they surely have one of the most awesome logos ever created. I wouldn't count them out, though.

I don't think that they can win... but i think they can at least take it to better than an AK by slayers anybody

Just because Toodming won 1 series against Ret who is extremely vunerable to cheese doesn't mean that the Chinese did not get dominated. Overall yes, they did get dominated. Its like in a bo7 series where a guy wins 1 game because of cheese but still loses 4-1, he got dominated.

awesome, ipl bringing exposure to lesser known teams/players~!

Are you actually trying to argue against results? Loner went 1-2 against both Sheth and Brat_ok, and he didn't play very well. Toodming went 2-0 Ret, 1-2 MVP, 2-1 Jazbas, and 0-2 Dimaga. That's 7-9 total in games by the two Chinese. That's dominated? Ok...

I'm stoked for this match, I think it's only a matter of time before the Chinese scene starts owning it up... that said Slayers will probably win this easily. Props to IGN for giving the Chinese scene more exposure though.

Another easy win for SlayerS I'm guessing ^_^

Well, Tyloo is kinda more famous for WC3 right? I don't think they would stand a chance against SlayerS... but anyway hope there would be good games

lol I second this. Or they could re-use teams previously played in the league (oGs-TL in mind)

If Slayers doesn't win at worst by 5-1 it will be a surprise, I would totally rofl if Slayers losses but that probably won't happen.

Tyloo may have a chance because Slayers wont be able to prepare against them that well...but yes, Slayers should take this no problem

TL may possibly be able to beat slayers if they use ogs members, and even then its tough.

They shouldve never brought SlayerS into the team league. No offence to any team in the world thats non korean but I honestly do not think anyone out there can beat a High level Korean team unless its a Korean team itself.
Dont think I hate, I love watching SlayerS everyweek I just wish it wasnt a roll over everyweek(just about)
If they bring in a Korean team, it will just be GSTL(not to mention SlayerS being the only team to win it 2x)
I cant see any non-korean team taking a win from them so if we bring in another korean team we are still in the same position. Who will beat that Korean Team?

I've seen a lot of people on TL like you, who make condescending posts without backing up their opinion at all. It doesn't serve your purpose well and certainly adds nothing to the discussion. Care to enlighten me with tournament results that show Tyloo able to compete with slayers in a team league? Maybe something besides losing a couple series 1-2 instead of 0-2? China is great at dota and WC3. Its not like I'm china-bashing. Its just that their results have been extremely lacking and they make no effort to catch up by competing in foreign events.

Really look forward to seeing more of the Chinese scene. If we want to grow the global Sc2, we need fans, lots of them, and China is a huge market for potential growth, and with an established WC3 fanbase, it is not unconceivable for the Chinese to start taking interest in SC2 if some of their players or teams become successful (national pride is huge in China).
That being said, Slayers will most likely dominate Tyloo
