They don't enter as much as PuMa. PuMa is worse than most of the Terrans in code S, I'd rank him around Keen's level where, if he was in code A, he'd just be on the cusp of code S but he'd be kept out by the better Terran's coming up through code A taking the spots of the weaker code S players. | ||

MMA's pedigree was based largely on GSL Team League performance, then his MLG win and now he's solidified it with an actual GSL championship. It's not that he's not good, but you can't say he's top 5 in the world when he's not competing in the world's most competitive tournament despite ample opportunity to do so. | ||

You must also remember that foreigner tournaments normally do not include any degree of specific preparation, unlike GSL, which makes the tournament a lot harder since it means you require a different practice type to be successful. He beat Losira then Bomber last MLG and ended up losing to Idra last MLG. In Orlando he took out Polt. At Guangzhou, he took out JYP before losing to Idra. At Raleigh he beat Nada in Pool Play. And he knocked out Alive and Clide in NASL Open, before beating Squirtle, July and MC in the finals, and also beat MC in the finals of Cologne. He beats a lot of good Koreans in foreign tournaments. | ||

You aren't arguing against everyone here: there isn't a collective voice of TeamLiquid opinion which you can point contradictions in. Naniwa isn't "easily" a Top 5 Protoss, anymore than Puma is "easily" a Top 5 Terran, especially considering that some of his achievements (eg IEM) were won in pretty dubious ways (see tree.hugger's argument). | ||

Now can we try to understand why Dreamhack's production values have fallen completely? After TB and Apollo were scheduled to be in two places at once everything fell apart. Ret vs Nerchio is supposed to go on now, but Tastosis just said they won't be back until Ro8, and TB/Apollo are still signing. What is happening D: | ||

One Bo3 win doesn't make you a better player. Shit happens, the better player can lose, it happens in every competitive discipline. There are many factors involved. | ||

i know its not pumas build (didn't know it was bomber 's though). it's just a silly old 1 base build but because people saw puma killing drg with it they might want to try it out on ladder since its pretty easy to do and can outright kill your opponent if he's not prepared. same thing happened on ladder when bomber defeated moon (not sure) in a dreamhack tournament a while ago. suddenly 2 starport banshee every second game against terran... | ||

DRG attempted an all in twice that Puma scouted. Puma won the 3rd game with what I'd consider an all in cheese that got scouted 5 seconds too late. Watch Supernova play against DRG in 6 games. He wins and you know that supernova was the better TvZ player in those games. | ||
