I must say I'm a bit biased against PuMa, but that's how I see it ![]() Thats just biased.I hate to say it but cheeses will always be used and its a legit strategy although it is bad for spectators.Players just need to do what they need to win .sadly

MMA's pedigree was based largely on GSL Team League performance, then his MLG win and now he's solidified it with an actual GSL championship. Puma's got a couple of foreign tournament wins and hasn't ever come close to Code S. It's not that he's not good, but you can't say he's top 5 in the world when he's not competing in the world's most competitive tournament despite ample opportunity to do so. he has been trying. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2011_Global_StarCraft_II_League_November/Preliminaries lost in the first round, lol

In the first game he tried to roach/bling bust and made the mistake of trying it a second time, he would've been fine otherwise. The third game was a onebase cheese with proxy rax bunker/hellions cloaked banshee which he didn't handle well, he was too greedy

At Guangzhou, he took out JYP before losing to Idra. And he knocked out Alive and Clide in NASL Open, before beating MC in the finals, and also beat MC in the finals of Cologne. He beats a lot of good Koreans in foreign tournaments. Which is why I rely more on the "type of tournament" argument. I think the way most foreign tournaments are structured don't allow the best skill to be shown, because there's no specific preparation. In the GSL that adds a whole level of depth to the strategizing part of the game. I agree he sometimes beats good koreans, but that doesn't make him a better player. It's just isolated Bo3s. That says absolutely nothing about a player's skill. Him failing to qualify for Code A on multiple ocasions is a more compelling argument imo, because it's a longer stretch and says that he doesn't have enough consistency to surpass even the first level required to enter the toughest competition.
