You've two solutions, either you specifically rally your ovies or your unit, but I think it should really be done by the top zerg, that kind of losses are stupid but well deserved.

Of course its always lame when a game gets decided because one player screws up, instead of just great play by the winner.

Putting a coloussus in a warp prism a few seconds made no difference, Nerchio simply lacked units.

I don't think it was double ebay for Select. If it was he was using them very stupidly; he only did one upgrade at a time. And also he got his single ebay way later than Sase's double forge. With chrono, he would barely be on 1-1 when Sase was on 2-2 (if the forges weren't sniped.)

but you can't know that, if you see a 6 gate attack outside your natural you can't just go double ebay because you need medivac tech, but if the protoss just decides to tech and not attack you are behind in either tech or upgrades. fake 6 gate is almost loss/loss for terran unless you get a perfect read on your opponent and find the right timing to punish him.

My point wasn't that Select should've done something differently. I was just stating that he wasn't doing double ebay as the post before me stated. He chose the greedy, mineralbased fast third approach and thus he had to be pretty assuming with his defense (pulling scv alot against a fake all-in isn't that good for you)

It's not even greedy since he built 4 bunkers. Playing against a 6 gate as terran is quite possibly just the hardest thing in the game, if you just get a slight misread on your opponent you outright lose the game. It really isn't that simple, the only way select could have won was fast medivac tech off 2 base with ghosts, but you can't know that.

If the protoss attacks you with 6 gate you die when you tech too much, if he doesn't and techs and you don't you are behind in tech, if he doesn't attack and goes double forge and you don't go double ebay you are behind in upgrades, if he gets a third and you stay on 2 base there's a chance hell get way ahead in economy... it's just extremely hard for terran to play against 6 gate because you don't know if it's an all-in or not and there are so many different things you can do wrong. It's pretty much loss/loss for terran, there is no way to confirm what exactly the protoss is up to. You have to guess and be lucky.

And you were saying earlier than only Protosses complain..

It may be considered complaining but there is definitely some substance to what he's saying. Can't say I don't agree with some of his points =/.

I just find it really unfair that people say Select reacted badly. anyone who has ever played against a 6 gate knows that there is no right way to react, you have to guess what the protoss' plan is and then just go with it, if your guess was wrong you lose, if it was right you win. It's almost 90% luck based wether or not you can beat a 6 gate. and you can't really blame select that he didn't guess sase would go for double forge and archons since there are about 100 other things he could have done.

Basically this. It is very unfair to say select reacted badly, considering it was a 6 gate he put down the neccessary bunkers, and Sase saw this and just waited for 1/1 and charge with archons which by itself is a very hard push. Those bunkers are a huge mineral sink and put his production slightly behind. After that point there was no way he could break that contain especially with forcefields in a choke.

hero has a habit of not scouting his base even when he's streaming. It came back to bite him. I hope he learns his lesson and improves his scouting.
