Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:
- NO Balance Whine. - NO Player Bashing. - NO Caster Bashing. - NO BM whatsoever.
Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment. |

Ignore them, the lack of logic from people posting on this thread is astounding. Again, WP Leenock, well deserved.

in b4 lee nock wins gsl nov as well

Naniwa's play was really questionnable. Nexus first against gaz-pool, then no scooting and only one canon to defend. Leenock played quite smart against a really greedy, risky style. Makes me happy

Tasteless really needs to stop overhyping everything. Best sc2 tournament in terms of the best sc2 content, as in no other tournaments could match the level of play that was demonstrated in this tourney. You need to stop complaining about little thing. Also it was an amazing finals- Naniwa is killing nerds left and right with a seemingly unstoppable strategy (FFE into 2 base timing). Leenock goes to the grand finals and figures him out- various early pressures to delay Naniwa's economy and then macro so that the 2 base timing can be defeated.

Does FXO not have jerseys anymore or something?

both have good micro (naniwa the better) but those retarded strategies keep them down. gg I guess.
Idra has more charisma than a palm tree, but Naniwa seems alot more driven so no I wouldn't say that at all.

This puts Nani in an interesting position. An awful, awful lot of people are going to claim he doesn't deserve the code S he gets from this. The Nestea drama, getting bounced from code A a billion times, and his compete failure to adapt in the final games there... none of that looks good.
I think he has one shot, and one shot only when he walks into code S. If he proves himself, he deserves it. If he's bounced again, I think that's just about it for him in the court of public opinion, especially to the netizens.
Don't be so dramatic. He proved himself many many times. He does not have to "prove" himself anymore. And you do not speak for "netizens", do you? You certainly don't speak for me. Where do you come up with those definitive afirmations: "that's just about it for him in the court of public opinion"? Please...

I don't think the "pinch me cause I don't know if I'm awake" expression really carries over to Korean culture..

Wait, is that Hwanni translating?

Wow! Haters gonna hate. He just simply outsmarted naniwa.

Amazing... If that were a foreigner there'd be a lot of people trying to say they're the best player in the world.
Wow, that is quite a run.

I actually feel like crying. Naniwa has been my favorite player since like forever. I dont blame Leenock for the way he played, it just feels sad. Naniwa is so misunderstood this tournament with the drama and all. And that people actually booed makes me sick. Sure cheer for whoever you want but shit like booing is nothing but a dickmove.
He is going to be so angry with himself after this. Hope he is not to critical of himself and let it fuel his practice instrad.

Yeah, he should have just let Naniwa do the exact same build every game without making any adjustments to his strategies.

That reminds of a certain someone. you dont need to hide the comparison people have made it already forever. comparison to whom?
It goes far beyond punishing greedy players. The guy has what we call star sense.
He knows what is coming; he has his timings down and the guy shows extraordinary control. + his mind games are frigging ridiculous.
He knows how to play. Very, very SMART player. Goes far beyond punishing greedy builds. He's also pretty creative.
