Here we go again. This weekend is about good games and good fun. Don't rain on that parade. Play nice guys. Here's the very standard and friendly:

- NO Balance Whine.
- NO Player Bashing.
- NO Caster Bashing.
- NO BM whatsoever.

Breaking these rules (from pg 166 forward) will be met with severe punishment.

I hear that an admin told Naniwa that there wouldn't be corrupters on that map.

Go Naniwa!

Leenock is good mannered.

That's about it really.

This. NOONE deserves it anywhere close... Last months on all I hear is how Nestea nd MVP are the best in the world. Naniwa plays them both many times in 3 days and more top koreans + Huk on top of that and absolutely crushes.

Noone is anywhere near to that dominance this tournament. Can anyone say I'm wrong?

Yes, cause anyone who got that deep had to do the same. And Naniwa never beat MVP at all, let alone "many times"

He beat him yesterday in a bo3.

Missed that sorry.

UH, global invitational semifinal...

While that's accurate, I still don't really see how the global invitational is relevant to whether someone deserves to win a different tournament...

Nani beat NesTea, Huk, and DRG so far.
Leenock beat MVP, Huk, DRG, Idra, MMA, Boxer, and Oz + a myriad of other very good players.

It's how the format works I guess, but Leenock has already had a more impressive tournament/.

say what you will about naniwa's skill (he's good), but the winners bracket is pretty favoured.

Yup of course it is. In fact both Naniwa and Leenock came from the Winners Bracket!!

I think you meant Championship bracket / Open bracket =)

I think you guiz forgot to add the number of games that Naniwa had to win in other mlg's to get to his position in the first place.

so in reality naniwa played WAY more games than leenock to get in such a favorable position.

It's not about skill. The mass prefers a charismatic youth about a concentrated professional.

I kinda expected more from the sc comunity ^-^

it's leenock's 16th game this weekend. and naniwa's what? like 8th only because of the global invitational.

crazy how naniwa has to win only 4 games to become mlg champion. on the one hand the winner bracket advantage is too small. not liking the format.

Its clear that Naniwa deserves this, but don't take anything away from Leenock. He had a hard road to get here, and he fought like an absolute beast. They both deserve to be here, and Ill just be happy to see either win.

Yeah. I hate the player, but if he wins this Naniwa really deserves it. He's on fuh fuh fuh fi-ure

what the hell i thought leenock was dead

He was never behind in supply.

Supply doesn't say anything in PvZ.

It does when it is 2 mining bases vs 1 mining base.

It was two vs two mining bases for most of the time. Naniwa was in a great position but he cut probes too early imo.

Naniwa does 1 build every single PvZ. FFE into stargate pressure then 2 base allin-ish push with some colossi... I find that boring even if it works for him.

It's funny how Naniwa just refuses to go on 3 bases even after defending the roach push. Why is that?

he thought he was far behind because he never scouted the expansions and just assumed there were up because leenock had pretty high saturation during his zealot/stargate pressure

he needed to make colossi because of mass hydra so he couldnt make an observer and his phoenixes were destroyed while scouting 9 o'clock before they could see the expansion

His run is more impressive IMO, especially that 4-1 just now.
