Watch how you approach the topic of match fixing. You can speculate, saying "I'm not so sure about the finals, something doesn't sit right with me," but if you are going to outright accuse players of match fixing you need something more than your word.
TL takes match fixing/abuse seriously and as such there is a burden a proof when you are accusing players.

GSL Finals - Real Tournament
Yeah, a 100k tournament is a showmatch, cool.

JP was fine, he will get word of his overusage of day9's name. That was the only thing honestly.
Day9 was doing this thing where he would repeat himself like 5 times and he stopped once people told him how annoying it was.

My conclusion is they put on a good show and some good games, they are both teammates and good friends, so who cares?
Exactly, sc2 is competition but also entertainment. So in some cases like that where players are teammates, i don't see the issue.

Issues like this make me think that tournament organizers should try and avoid having same-team finals if at all feasible without compromising the integrity of the tournament.
The accusations sort of reminds me of that BW WCG incident where the Korean players supposedly rigged their matches so that more Koreans advanced.

When Terran can split map and control center you are doing 6 base t vs 4 base zerg. The only person I have seen win in this situation is Idra after doing heavy delays on bio upgrades and eco harrasment before it happened.

So sad when people are going to whine balance. Just ignore this series, it really doesn't need to be analyzed at all.

thanks blizzard for some good games. My only hope is next year more games is put on stream next year.

They are on the same team and something like this happened with TT1 and Fenix before. that last game was skeptical... User was temp banned for this post.
Long-time community members like Fayth and progamers like ToD already confirmed that price money splitting is pretty normal in the pro scene (those who are interested read all of Fayth's posts in the linked thread). ToD even states (concerning Losira vs Nestea): "having lived in Korea as long as i have and being quite familiar with how Korean progamers proceeded in Warcraft, i'm gonna guess that it's very likely they did split [even though some players dislike it]"
Though people need to keep in mind that both mention that the prestige of winning a tournament is enough to play the best. Both are 3 times GSL champions. Both are considered the best players of their race. Winning Blizzcon is a good indicator which one is better (atm) So unless a person who's more knowledgeable concerning SC2 compared to me says the match was rigged, Nestea just fucked up (in my opinion) - or MVP was just better playing under pressure.

Ghosts are EASILY killed by Mass Lings, remember the game where Darkforce and MVP got to the late game and the exact same scenario happened? MVP was easily cleaned up with mass Ling. Nestea messed up, bad. Even a mid tier foreigner had an answer for this.
That's exactly why people are suggesting it, why would the best zerg/player in the world make 28 brood lords in the final game of the tournament vs mass viking ghost. He plays atleast 30 games per day I'm pretty sure Nestea knows how to play vs anything.
Anyway it was a nice showmatch, gn people.

Right, I think that is the correct stance to take. Both finalists are teammates afterall and that is a big deal.

nestea has always done that, even on GSL I have seen him send unsupported Broodlords.

God yes, I hate JP casting, he sucks all the life out of the cast. I don't mind day9 with him since he sort of cancels it out, but JP is an awful option, sure he can be professional and work as a short notice Play-By-Play caster, but he sounds like he's falling asleep when casting. You'd have to pair him up with TotalBiscuit or Husky to make it work.

Might be because of his lost yesterday against MMA because he probably thought he could have won almost 100k instead of 50k.
While 50k is a lot, if (theoretically speaking) he may want to retire early, he needs to win as much money as possible.
Flash makes over *600k+ a year (way more than Nestea and MVP combined) but yet he hasn't stopped because he wants more money.
*It's because unlike MVP and Nestea, he gets paid a high salary(almost 600k alone is his salary not counting prize money) thanks to lots of sponsors/rich team.
Also I feel MVP has more reasons to lose purposely than Nestea. Nestea is nearly 10 years older than MVP while MVP has a lot more time to spend as a pro gamer.
tl;dr - I don't think the match was fixed or rigged. I can be wrong but honestly the massive amount of complaints and claims really brings the mood down. Also Nestea won against Losira (teammate) so it's not like he has shown to drop matches in the past before.
