Watch how you approach the topic of match fixing. You can speculate, saying "I'm not so sure about the finals, something doesn't sit right with me," but if you are going to outright accuse players of match fixing you need something more than your word.

TL takes match fixing/abuse seriously and as such there is a burden a proof when you are accusing players.

I can't conceive Nestea playing that any worse. Anyone who thinks it was Terran imbalance is delusional. That last game pretty much ruined the finals for me.

A tier 2 unit countering a tier 3 unit is ok, but a tier 2 unit countering the complete tier 3 of a race is not right no matter how you look at it

Well presuming the demographics of opinion in the crowd at the same as they in here. You'll probably know why people left early

The GSL finals crowd was pretty damn loud though

Most of the audience left after the games. They were expecting MVP to come out which is why they started chanting but then MVP ran away to the back room for some reason.

I'd have to pee after a long game like that too.

He ran off-stage after winning the match, lol... Instead of basking in the cheering crowd while fist-pumping.

There's a reason why people loved MMA over him last night. Neither IM player has a talent for fans. Maybe it's the years not doing much in bw.

After this final I have this feeling, that Nestea wasn't trying to win anyway. And this last game was some kind of a show for the crowd... I can't believe that Nestea with his 16k resources could loose that game.

to me blizzcon as a whole was just really underwhelming. a few good series here and there, but nothing on the measure of nestea/mvp ro8 in the gsl.

can't put my finger on it though- maybe a combination of the maps and the seemingly lackluster play in many of the games.

I totaly agree. I'm a zerg too and was a little bugged that zerg has no chance to break such a terran position. But I think Nestea should have kept attacking into it, making 3-4 more macro hatches ans using his banked ressources. But hey ... when we play, we also make a ton of mistakes ... and so did Nestea (ofc not a ton but some).

But nevertheless I love Mvp for the things he does with terran. Even if he lost yesterday to MMA ... he is simply still the best terran and player in the world.

You just got to love Nestea and Mvp

All in all .... good ending for a realy bad tournament. Blizzard should put some more effort into that.

Keep in mind that during the GSL finals last night the entire venue had NOTHING else going on. The only thing happening was the GSL finals.

While this was going on there was still panels and gamestations open to people, and they didn't open the entire hall for seating.

Want to have the buzz from a fun finals killed faster than anything? Come to the TL thread. Jesus, you people are seriously some whiners. This community has taken a serious nose dive since SC2 started to become popular. We've even got people in here complaining about the crowd. Are you serious? The crowed has been awesome. Oh no, they left because they wanted to go see some other stuff at Blizzcon. They are obviously not hardcore enough for us.

Ugg, I have no idea why I even came to this thread. I guess I had hoped to see some excitement for a fun to watch game, but nope...just people complaining about everything, as per usual.

Nestea lost that more than MVP won it. Seriously, banking 10k mineral 5k+ gas, and turtling with baneling, infestors until your enemy picks you apart with drops? MVP had way too many vikings and ghosts, he should've gone low tier, sling/banelings.

Could be, they are teammates afterall. That was some weak play by Nestea in that last game.

nestea wasn't playing that game seriously at all. well I can hardly blame him given that he and MVP are probably pretty good friends and he probably wants to cheer MVP up from losing GSL yesterday. plus they probably chopped the money beforehand.

remaxing on broodlords, an absurdly huge number at that, WITHOUT AIR SUPPORT, lol, you don't see that in GSL level play, let alone anything beyond gold league.

Zerg CANT do anythign in that position, Terran make 20 ghosts, about 8-9 tanks, 1-2 thors, possibly some hellions, ~10 vikings, and 30 marines.

You cant beat it.

BUT! there is a way to fix this.

Nerf snipe, by increasing energy cost or decreasing damage. otherwise you can just snipe overseers, nuke spines, and nuke bases all day. Can't engage it.

Protoss would be complaining as well .... Ghosts are rediculous

heres the REALLY shitty thing

if Terran wasn't OP ....

MVP would still have won .... and he would be getting the credit he deserves as the best in the world
