I dont think Nestea stands a chance against Mvp if he plays like this. Props to Virus though.

I wasn't impressed with Nestea in game 2/3 :/
seems like he doesn't really have a good answer to 2x expand from Terran...dunno.

If troll: Ok you got me.

If serious: You're lame.

Look at his post history and you'll see the latter is more likely.

The only good thing about Nestea winning this series is that we won't have another mirror in RO8. But otherwise, MVP would crush either one of them.

This is definitely up there with the game 5 finish against sc, to be honest this one felt more intense.

yeah, he played really bad. he could have attacked Virus army many times with siege tanks unsieged but he went for the expansion, doing no damage at all and losing a lot of units...

Okay he may have made mistakes, but he took the game that was pretty much lost after he lost though banes to the scan. Nestea's ability to comeback from terrible situations is amazing. Thats why hes so good, he didnt play terribly great in that sc game in terms of him getting into the situation to be holding on by the skin of his teeth, but the comeback he did made it one of the most memorable and interesting and exciting series Starcraft 2 has seen.

BASERACE A TERRAN AS ZERG? NOT A PROBLEM IF U R NESTEA

Zergs have a major advantage in most base trades due to mobility and easier tech rebuilding.
No. No and No. Terrans are the best at bace-racing. Though I am sure Zerg's are going to be a lot more astute about doubling up production structures at other bases. 150 minerals for an extra spawning pool at your 4th - it doesn't cost much right? So many zergs aren't doing it. But I guess as base-racing becomes more and more essential, zergs will start "doubling" tech structures

i'd prefer they overhype a game then underhype it. Nothing is worse than watching an uninterested caster =S.

The banes weren't lucky they were intelligently thought out. I'm dissatisfied, however, because the game was way closer than it should have been. Hell it shouldn't have even hit game 3.

yah virus should've won the first game easily if he didnt have bronze level play with his first batch of blue flame hellions.

So Leenock vs Ganzi next? This should be another great match.

Artosis casting this game make ppl in this thread think this game was epic.

It really wasn't. Nestea was far ahead and there was no way he was going to lose the base trade having 3+ minerals. Artosis just compltely forgot about the fact that virus had no buildings left (very weird he could forget that), and thorught he might lose.

Tastosis just way overhyped this game....

I never lose base trades with 3+ minerals.

Honestly MVP will probably have all TvZ to the finals(which could also be a ZvT but likely not)

Far be it from me to question Nestea, but I reckon he could have taken Virus' army without having to go for the base trade.

Guess it all worked out in the end though =D

Yep, you're right. The base trade was one of the worst possible choices he could have made, engaging Virus' army as it was shooting the rocks would have won him the game there and then in my eyes.

It wasn't pretty much lost, he had a huge advantage as soon as the base-trade happened.
