Yes, for the umpteenth time, there will be a re-stream. I believe it starts at 10PM (or maybe 11?) CET. I would go find out exactly when, but its been a long first two days, and I'm moments away from some much needed sleep. You can check for yourself at www.esl.tv So happy to see Elfi playing well. I'm not surprised at all at his results, and I'm sure most guys that follow the European scene aren't either. The kid is hot as hell right now. Hope you guys are enjoying the tournament as much as I am. Can't wait for the quarterfinals. This has been a really nice event in terms of the quality of games and the quality of players. China is a really cool place... Albeit a little bit crowded. ![]() In completely unrelated news - I really want some suggestions for good Chinese cuisine? Anyone from around here have some suggestions?

If you look at the groups, you should be able to come to the conclusion that the winner of Group A plays the 2nd place in Group B, and so on. If JYP topped his group, he'd be playing HasuObs.

But they said in a post in the forum and on the stream that something was random in the bracket creation...maybe it was were they placed the best ofs. People reacted pretty defensively to my comment for some reason >.>

In any case if all Koreans would have made first in their groups they would not be all on he same side of the bracket.

JYPs second place meant that he would only be drawn against either Puma, Revival or Elfi. He couldn't meet other second places or Dimaga since they were in the same group.

You've got your four #1 seeds from the groups: Puma, Dima, Elfi, Revival They each draw a number: 1, 2, 3, 4 This gives them their place in the bracket Then you've got your four #2 seeds: Idra, Jyp, Strelok, Hasu They each draw a number: 1, 2, 3, 4 This tells them who they play against Or, at least, it's something like that. ![]() edit: I forgot the part where players can't be bracketed against someone from their group initially. Saying Korean vs Non-Korean is not a high-skill final is just dumb. Dimaga, the only guy to ever win against Nestea in a televised match, the guy who won Assembly (which Nada attended), and undoubtedly one of the best Zerg players in the world, Korean or otherwise, is every bit as capable of winning this tournament as Puma. I would be much more excited to see Dima vs Puma than JYP or Revival vs Puma in the final. (of course, I'm both foreigner biased, and Zerg biased, but still) I think the foreigner community needs a win, and with this lineup, they've got a helluva shot at one.

I agree with everything you said, and would also add that the Dreamhack Valencia finals show that Korean vs. Foreigner finals can be really tense and exciting. Sure it might not have been the highest skill level, like MC vs. Puma was for NASL, but ThorZain vs. DRG was better than most GSL finals for entertainment.
