Yeah me too, I wanted TSL to go through and take the tourney, but seeing all the emotion on creators face made me happy they won too. next time tsl! Creator is 13 years old o.0 and family issues aswell, I hope he does well.

Double forge play is STILL so very unexplored and from all protoss PvT strategies I've ever seen this seems to have one of the highest win-%. The timing alive hit right before 2-2 would've crushed it on any other map. That's why I said "unexplored" - obviously it has to be played differently (colossus-timing-wise and council-timing-wise) on each map. But in the last few months korean protoss-players established the chargelot/archon metagame....which just seemed to have a terrible win-% I remember when tyler first started trying double forge builds, he would not go colossus at all but instead get either fast storm or a third the moment his 2/2 got done, and only then he teched to colossus. I think the strat if anything is even better with the immortal buff because you might even be able to delay colossi for a while and be fine vs 2-4 medivacs with just gateway+immortals.
I think fast upgrades immortals might prove to be just that vs a fast medivac play (immortals with upgrades deal damage way too quickly to allow for any out-healing) - vs fast ghosts though I think going colossus is fine.
I just don't understand why everyone backed away from double forge play so quickly. Tyler's opening is/was inefficient (3 gates + robo before expansion is too weak macro-wise, nobody does that anymore). But that aside, I always wondered why double forge went out of fashion without never seeming to get build order countered since you just don't go double forge after your observer confirms weird stuff. Creator showed in the last games that it - still..or again? - has great potential.

im not complaining that we got to see a macro game..
but its just silly to pick crossfire and then not do an all-in. everyone knows that map is ridiculous for forcefield + aoe if you let the protoss get to that point. if you want to play a macro game pick a different map

This pretty much echos my thoughts.
I really wanted TSL to win knowing they wanted to win it so badly as a team. But i'm happy for Creator.
Great series overall and a fantastic finale. GSTL always seems to deliver more often than not.

Creator takes out Clide, ok no problem, Creator has a sick PvT and this pick made sense... But why then why the fuck did you send Heart who is obviously worse than Clide, and aLive who is just bad at TvP?
Why dont you send Killer? Yes he is still in Code S, but it's not like he's going to reveal his PvP builds and screw his code S run, he's the only Protoss left in code S... And even if he didn't practice PvP for a time, he still has better chances than aLive :/
I really don't understand why at this level they seem to just throw random players out...
Killer categorically did not have a better chance vs Protoss than aLive did. I have absolutely no idea why you think he would have.

Yeah beats me, i can't figure out why people like zealot/archon better either. I think it might just have been a big over-reaction to the archon buff.

That wasn't a reverse all kill. But yes it was pretty clutch.

holy shjfmsdifmfnd shit!!!!!!!!!!!!! i gave up on prime after the fifth set and went to bed but woke up to check and i see this !!!! holy shit!!!!!!!

I really wish GSL would reset and do another Open Season. Or increase the number of people falling through the Up & Down matches. So many players better than the stagnant Code S players these days.

So that teams cant just ride on the back of 1 player. Then IM would win every season This format should work better for star players, like those players in IM. But in some way, they just kept losing. If they can't even win one game, how can you expect them to be better in PL format.
The fact IM didn't stomp everyone is that both Nestea and MvP are trolling in non-code S event. Look how this little Virus is not afraid of Nestea (and will probably get owned), and how MMA thought he would win "because he owned him in AOL"...their masterplan works perfectly...

Prime is awesome! always vote for them

Awsome GSTL day. Creator totally deserved that, playing like a boss.

I'm still in shock man...
Seeing Creator so emotional and happy and proud makes me realize just how dedicated he is to the game and to succeeding.
What a powerful image to end that cast on. This has been one of my favorite days of Starcraft II ever!
