With that said, this showed how good upgrades are in pvt. I watch a lot of protoss streams these days and they always heavily delay upgrades. Creator did the opposite and it made a massive difference. I hope to see other protosses getting heavy upgrades in a similar fashion. I agree. Not to take anything away from creator who was extremely solid. But you can't ignore upgrades in pvt, delaying upgrades to tech faster carries a risk and it made a huge difference in those games.

Double forge play is STILL so very unexplored and from all protoss PvT strategies I've ever seen this seems to have one of the highest win-%. The timing alive hit right before 2-2 would've crushed it on any other map. That's why I said "unexplored" - obviously it has to be played differently (colossus-timing-wise and council-timing-wise) on each map. But in the last few months korean protoss-players established the chargelot/archon metagame....which just seemed to have a terrible win-%
I remember when tyler first started trying double forge builds, he would not go colossus at all but instead get either fast storm or a third the moment his 2/2 got done, and only then he teched to colossus. I think the strat if anything is even better with the immortal buff because you might even be able to delay colossi for a while and be fine vs 2-4 medivacs with just gateway+immortals.

Considering the clothes on Primzzang are relatively cheap (look at Slayers for a comparison...) i wonder how much of a profit they make. But yeah. having zero sponsors for quite a while now, Prime really needed this.

I wanted TSL to win the tournament but I'm happy for Prime. Great series..gotta love the GSTL.

Looks like terran need to double engi sooner now Which leaves you wide open to early pushes because you spend alot of resourced to early ebay's . Just like Protoss is with this style. Creator was wide open to be killed but Alive totally missed his timing .
Or terran can just expand or even double expand around the 8-9 min mark If creator looses a battle he's done for after that. Still cool stuff.

Yeah, they were. But from Coach Lee's response to the TSL and Puma drama, something was said along the lines of Killer and Clide having to use their Code S prize money to help support the team.

15 years old kids like creator can stop school to play starcraft full time or not??

Clide lost that for his team, he made the biggest mistake going in after that battle. All downhill from there. Plus creator just played amazing, props

This format should work better for star players, like those players in IM. But in some way, they just kept losing. If they can't even win one game, how can you expect them to be better in PL format.

Creator takes out Clide, ok no problem, Creator has a sick PvT and this pick made sense... But why then why the fuck did you send Heart who is obviously worse than Clide, and aLive who is just bad at TvP?
Why dont you send Killer? Yes he is still in Code S, but it's not like he's going to reveal his PvP builds and screw his code S run, he's the only Protoss left in code S... And even if he didn't practice PvP for a time, he still has better chances than aLive :/
I really don't understand why at this level they seem to just throw random players out...
Completely agree 100%.......it still boggles my mind
worse that each of the zerg/terrans that were sent out do the same build

you're quoting the wrong guy lol. i was replying to him that creator's win wasn't based on luck.

Wow, the list of the next generation of Protoss heroes are growing:
Puzzle Hero Sage JYP
And we can add Creator to that list. Despite the dark age of Protoss that's going on right now, the future looks pretty bright for Aiur.

I'm guessing that it won't be long til a CreatorPrime fanclub is made! Can't wait to join it

Then in that case, SC2 would have a boytoss.
