Any time he goes a bit quiet he eventually pops back up with some new modern styles of play that work well for him and that allow him to use his excellent strategic thinking to beat players who might normally take him down more standard scenarios. Then when everyone's getting used to that he trails off again for a while till he picks up something new and runs with it again. Would be cool to see mech again but I think there'll be a heavier 2 base attack on this map.

I think that is a consequence of his somewhat soft training schedule. He's obviously a talented player but he simply don't play enough to master all situations but when he gets to play according to his own plan he can play brilliantly.

Adding in banshees at the end there is something we definitely need to see more of. There was plenty of vulnerabilities in the early game. His siege mode was so very late, never had a solid wall off, late missile turrets. Idra just failed to take advantage and sat back and maxed on ling/muta.

Ultras just are sooo sloowwwwww and not very cost effective. i dont think lings/banes or even roaches would have been more cost effective that ultras, but definately roaches would have been better choice in my opinion

You could've skipped all of that and say "Elfi played better and won" instead.

Roaches are really good on smaller maps, when you scout mech you can always try to trade armies/harrass 2 different posis etc. But on that map versus a maxed mech army? Nah.

SjoW is practically expanding before IdrA, and is basically straight up countering mutas before they even come out.
