Bomber can take out MVP and he's definitely mortal in TvZ. Problem solved! Now we just have to make sure Bomber doesn't dick around too much in his matches and lose before he comes up against MVP ... might be a difficult task, unfortunately. I'm not really sure that Bomber can beat Mvp if Mvp has to win (remember code A winner or runner-up had the same prize : choose ur up&down group and little money) in all honesty. And even if he were able, Mvp is looking particulary in shape recently, in every match-up So just because the monetary prize and the advantages of winning Code A were similar, you don't think MVP tried? Riiiiiight. I'm not saying that Bomber will beat MVP if they ever meet up again, but what I am saying is that he probably has the best chance of beating him over any other player currently in Code S, jetlag and screwing around notwithstanding. They are friends and practiced together. Mvp didn't have the o-face and didn't seem affected by his losses. And he was sick for his matches, maybe for the final too. I remember him getting supply blocked quite a couple times and that doesn't look Mvp-like at all.

Wow, as a Zerg player while we may not have that many players, i think the quality of Zergs in code S is very good.
Personally i see Zenio as the weakest link. Though now with the conclusion of the up/down matches, even Zenio has stayed in Code S longer than any other Zerg, and is tied with Nestea. Which is an impressive feat in its self.

I feel bad for GOM. They're already facing the fact that the Sc2 in Korea just isn't as popular, and they've had absolute shit luck for code S finals, and now they're sponsoring a game with 20/32 players being the same race. They've had such great production value for the entirety of the game's history, but the game just isn't cooperating.

I know each race has a few players who dont deserve code S but it seems terran players are just solid lately with a pretty low amount of protoss players who honestly deserve code S. Honestly the only protoss who deserved code S who didnt get it was JYP but fate intervened so that MKP would get 2nd yet again. I'm a Korean and have been an e-sports fan for a long time, and I think I can safely say that statement is just plain wrong. There's no reason to think terran pro players have superior skills over protoss or zerg players, perhaps with only exception of MVP, probably was only pro player competitive enough in SC1 leagues when SC2 and GSL launched. But even MVP didn't "choose" terran in SC2 for any particular reason, he chose it because he was also a terran player in SC1. I'm not sure why this kind of myth keeps coming.. maybe because David Kim once said some similar remark? That remark was just lame. Nobody in Korean forum (like playxp) take it seriously. And nobody thinks JYP was outplayed by those two terran players. That's not the reason he couldn't make it. He did everything he could, and he did it pretty well, but just was playing wrong race. Now everybody with common sense should notice there's something wrong in the game itself when you see 20 players out of 32 are playing certain race. In elite level, protoss just can't beat terran. You guys souldn't bash MKP just because he did 1-1-1. He did what he is supposed to do. To win. You should bash Blizzard for allowing him to do that. And worse news? Upcoming 1.4 patch will be no cure for 1-1-1 nor EMP. Terran was dominant in bw too. Didn't mean it was imbalanced. Protoss is more than fine in sc2. If anything they need changes not because of racial imbalance, but because I feel they are boring as hell. I've always felt warp gate mechanic was flawed as well. so protoss should be changed because your opinion is that they are boring? What about my opinion that tvt is boring to watch for me? because seriously, I dont see the fun in watching tanks sieging and tanks unsieging every single days... What? If you have a problem with Terran due to their inherent design please say so. I said protoss should be changed because I strongly feel they are badly designed and not just boring to watch but boring as hell to play. And as far as TVT being boring for you, mirrors in general aren't as popular as non mirror matchups and I clearly said protoss should get redesigned not due to balance issues, but their inherent design. I find protoss extremely boring to play and many protoss players I know say the same thing. Terran on the otherhand I feel is very well designed. Blizzard spent the most time designing terran and it clearly shows.
hum..then if you want to go there, well, I find terran boring to watch AND to play. The main reason why i dont like terran is the fact they are have a somewhat ''standard'' rts playstyle, in term of mechanics. For me the reason i play anything BUT terran is that the other race have that ''non average rts'' feeling on them (mechanics like larvae and warpgates are not something you would find normally in another rts, and therefore, bring something new and refreshing for me, in an rts).
As for TvT, it was only an example (aimed tackle at the fact that there are so many terrans in gsl, really). I do find that matchup boring to watch, and actually many people find it boring to play too, mainly because it is ALWAYS long, and always end up being tanks sieging and tanks unsieging. If you want to know, I do enjoy watching, for example, pvp, because of the fact that many of those games depend on unit control (well, i guess I am a Warcraft 3 player after all) and the fact that it seems very reliant on making good readings on your opponent (especially that it is somewhat less 4 gate vs 4 gate anymore).
Now what I am trying to say there is that its all a question of tastes. outright saying that ''you don't like protoss'' and that it should ABSOLUTELY be changed because YOU (and some ''friends'') think they are ''not well designed'' is the part that tickles me. Why should something be changed because YOU dont like it? Because I can find you as many people that dont like, say, terran and find them boring. I for one, think that those kind that "non conventional" gameplay mechanics gives starcraft more dept, that little something you dont have in other games of the genre. Sure, when you try to add those kind of mechanics, they will feel flawed, or really weird and even hard to balance. But the fact that blizzard finds a way to add those actually makes starcraft what it is. Removing them is not the answer.
In conclusion, I think terran should be changed and redesigned because I think they are boring to play and way too conventional. (now, I want you to tell me, does my last sentence make any sense? does it sound smart? Should something be done just because of my opinion? I dont think so. But thats how you sound).
