I meant Jjakji and the potential code S terrans, because Noblesse is code S and 8-9 in TvP and still beat MC without 1-1-1. The problem isn't, that he would most likely lose against 1/1/1, but the constant threat, that as a Protoss, you might get 1/1/1 on almost every map and it severely hinders your game plan. Not to mention how stressful it is. I was hoping the patch would hit live before the Up/Down...

He absolutely has to defeat Check and Kyrix, and has to either beat Losira or Jjakji to have a chance. Not an easy task.

The counters to 1-1-1 (as shit as they are) can be build order losses vs 2Rax. Incredibly, a 1-1-1 that comes after a FAILED 1-1-1 with SCV's (see IEM Finals Game 1) can still kill a Protoss player if he assumes he is safe and chooses to tech. (Usually not a bad assumption vs 1 base all-ins) Vs Noblesse: MC used a build that could have had success vs 1-1-1, but could not aptly deal with a Medivac timing. It's not about whether or not a Terran chooses to use 1-1-1, it's the fact that it is a constant threat which requires very specific responses to have a chance at stopping it.

I'm sure it's more directly counterable than the real 1-1-1 with banshees and tanks, but you don't know which one is coming and either one kills you very easily. Yes - this is correct.

but Jjakji may come from behind and impress, it's possible... maybe even Check, although i doubt it and Kyrix should get destroyed here

Xel'Naga Fortress ZvP: 8-6 (57.1%) Antiga Shipyard 1.1 ZvP: 3-0 (100%) Terminus SE ZvP: 22-7 (75.9%) Metalopolis 1.1 PvT:17-24 (41.5%) Although to be fair, protoss-favored maps are few and far between. Edited to look nicer That's disheartening.. hope he can make it
