So so far GSL has a net loss of 7 terrans. Something is wrong with your math. This season there were 17 Terrans, next one is already up at 18, with possibly 2 more to come tomorrow, for a total of 20 of 32 spots. yep I saw that liquipedia has +1 terran in code S, but I don't get where he is from. Yesterday, we had 2 terrans from code S. Only 1 stayed in code S and was replaced by Leenock. The other was supernova, who was code S and stayed code S. That's -1 terran. Today we had one terran from code A who went to code S (jjakji) That's +1 terran. So I don't see how they made their calcs (but I could miss something) edit : yeah I know now, I missed code A winner, Ganzi. That's +1 terran.

Complaining about Huk vs. MVP would be like me, a shit Zerg, whining about 11/11 when I get rolled by a GM Terran. It's not imbalanced; he's just tiers above me. MVP played tiers above Huk. That's why he lost.
Anyways, Jjakji is awesome. Just watched his first game against Losira, and wow, this is why you don't let Terran turtle to max supply. Also, mass medivacs? What? Amazing play by Jjakji there.

So so far GSL has a net loss of 7 terrans. Thank god! Though the main problem as a viewer is that 53% of Code S is Terrans. Not to mention - tomorrow's up and down group (arguably) favors MKP and Taeja as the two advancing players. Violet isn't particularly good and Tester is a shadow. JYP could be dangerous, but TvP in Korea is easily favoring Terran players. If things play out as the probabilities predict, 1 Zerg and 1 Protoss will fall from Code S and 2 more Terrans will replace them. Yeah, I just stated facts but it bores me too. I'm hoping for a terran slump like in early 2011.

Just watched first Jjakji vs Losira, too. His TvZ is so damn solid! Excellent control and macro when pushing with his siege tank, heavily upgraded marines and mass medivac style; very good harass denial with good turret and marine placement and even Thors; excellent late-game, getting both an additional starport and a ghost academy before having even seen Hive tech.

Worst example?? the first game where MVp went marines and tanks and pinned Huk.. ?
So basically 2 of the 3 games Huk had no chance to win. is that what you're saying?? wow So huk has to hope no terran goes 1/1/1 or all in's to have a chance of even winning a game??
Everyone says Huk lost because he played like shit... WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU. A protoss has to play unbelievable to win have a chance to win 1 game. You're proving my point even more. Huk is the best Protoss in the world right now... and if he gets dominated like that what does that tell you??
It's imbalanced... If MVP or nestea played Protoss, they would get owned even with a year of training. I would never use Protoss even though it's my offrace.. in a ladder game.
If it wasn't imbalance why hasn't a protoss won any big tournaments in a long time??? MLG/GSL/IEM... anything... there's a reason why... Protoss is by far the worst race to use.

Woops - just saw your earlier edit. Ganzi is auto Code S. So its 56% now. I'm not necessarily hoping for a Terran "slump" where all Terrans don't what to do (like what Protoss is going through atm)... I'm simply hoping that Protoss / Zerg are better able to cope with the current Metagame. I still want all the good Terrans to remain in Code S and be extremely competitive. I guess I want there to more racial balance rather than prolonged periods of suffering for any particular race. 1.4 is hopefully right around the corner, so hopefully it will make waves.

You're blind. Huk is not the best Protoss in the world. Also, stop QQ-ing so much. If you want to debate, then debate with some arguments. Don't just start crying a river in a LR thread. If anything, you are making T/Z players happy at your sorrow.

wow. MC went down to code A. God help the poor fools that stand in his way next season.
He was once gave the protoss the salvation we where hopeing for. I hope for him to deliver us a revolution again.

I knew Losira had advanced because the warning at the top of the page had only one sentence instead of a dissertation stating about whining about balance will get you banned.

Yup thats what tipped it off for me. Oh well I am going to watch MC lose just because I still love the guy. Even though I know it will make me sad

I have a question. In the Losira vs Check match where Check 10pooled, how does he know where Losira is on Antiga Shipayard? Did Losira's overlord gave away his spawn location? There is a 50% chance in which he goes to the wrong base if the ov did not exist.

Wow, there are so many protoss tears in this thread, it's getting quite ridiculous. MC just didn't bring his A game to the up and downs, I'm sure he will do very well in Code A if he concentrates more on his game. Apart from that, I don't think there's much we can do about the terran dominance in Code S at the moment. In particular as a zerg I wouldn't want any of the Code A zergs being swapped with any Code S terran, they are just the better players.

It'll be hilarious when GSL Code S September 2011 has 16 Terrans in the Ro16.
