I'll be surprised if they make it past round 1. MVP said Sjow had code S quality TvT, he could easily ride that to the Up and Downs. Nani is one of the most dedicated players there is. He's spent enough time in Korea that he can do some damage now. Not to mention he has already beaten MC in PvP.

He might be a good player, but it's a safe bet to say that Koreans are simply better. He won't be roflstomped if he gets TvT. He can hold his own there I'm pretty sure. But yeh, Naniwa will need a lot of PvP's to do well in my opinion.

With the new format I'm tired of seeing the same ppl over and over again with about 5 new faces in code S season. Change the format to a single 64 man tournament, players who make it to round 32 retains spots, losers have to go thru qualifiers next time. This would make things so much more exciting and we would get to see so many more new faces and upsets. Maybe that's because the people in Code S are just the best people playing the game? As it is you get to see what new player are up and comming in Code A, instead of them having to play Nestea in the first round of a 64 man bracket. They could do it the same way the BW leagues like OSL and MSL worked. Players who went far the previous tournament get seeded into later rounds in the next tournament. It's annoying watching a hot Code A player smash his way through the bracket then having to wait another month before seeing him in Code S. Said player could've cooled off considerably since then.

Code A is getting ridiculously stacked. More and more scrubs are getting weeded out of Code S. Soon they'll have to do live broadcasts of Code B because all three will be so stacked it'd be like a 3 tier super tournament all the way through. I'm just waiting for them to begin trickling the money down the totem poll a bit so top 2 of each code B bracket, top 16 of code A and all of Code S gets more money.

as for now, i will just change code S for code A televised time. I have no any intention to watch endless, stupid, borring, annoying TvT matches. MC in code A, ok, i am in code A too. just hope that Blizzard makes something before MC and the rest of the protosses go to code B.

In the previous format, 50% of the Code S could possibly be eliminated, now it's only 25%. No it was just 25% ( couldn't be less ) as well because either one player that placed 3rd or 4th would stay in in every Up/Down group. Now no Code S player in the Up/Downs is save and more often then not the Code S guys fall out. I mean look at least season of the 7 guys that fell to the Up/Down 5 went down to Code A . This season 4 guys went down already and most likely that number will go up to 6 because Violet and Tester are not that good. Guys that finish last get in much more trouble now then getting 3rd/4th in the old system because its way harder to stay in Code S . The weaker players get weeded out right now ,the players everybody said aren't that good starting to fall out but it does take some time.

I remember reading very similar predictions in the beginning of this season for all the foreigners in Code A. I posted then that if this is what people seriously believe, they will be sorely disappointed. I don't think it's much different now. Without seeing the brackets, it's of course too early to say if any foreigners will make it past ro32, but finals? No way!
