LOSIRA!! I'm so happy that he didn't get dropped to Code A. Also really weird to see MC in Code A.. he must feel really bad about that . Btw didn't viOlet join that that filipino team AZK?

I give respect to Moletrap and Doa. I know they made some mistakes going into the end of the cast, and Moletrap was annoying with his jokes, but you have to realize, they both just casted for 5 hours straight.

Im happy losira stays where he deserves, too bad another terran in code s tho...

Crying aside i think the big loser of all this massive terran domination everywhere is actually GOM. They do such a great job with GSL but they have the toughest luck ever. All their finals is usually one sided and each season they are more likely to be showing TvT matches than any other and i have to think that shake a bit their viewership. =(

He lost a game to end up 3-1 Losira went 3-1 Jjakji went 3-1
they all lost a single game.
Check was the guy that fell short in the tiebreak.
It was about as fair as it was humanly possible to be.
Yea, I feel so shit for Check, he was the guy I wanted to go through the most, but yea, it was as fair as possible..
Still... Check was one of the players who first got me into SC2 and it sucks that he went 4-4 and is in exactly the same place as Kyrix who went 0-4 (even though that was a fair system).
Better luck next time Check!

In the end the two better player advance in code S.
Also if i'm a huge fan of MC, if today he was playng the up&down of Code B he would had lose anyway, so no balance QQ would be allowed today.

while supernova and leenock advanced with a 100% winrate yesterday, today winners advanced with only a 71 % winrate.
it seems unfair that check didnt make it, because runner up yesterday had a 33% winrate and check today had a 50% winrate at the end, but well, obviously you need to win more than half of your games to advance into code s

so true. tasteless starts whining after 3 hours and keeps whining. these guys should really consider themselves more fortunate to be able to cast in korea, get paid lots of money and be able to fly out to america every 2 months.
edit: "these guys" = tastosis

Sure, the players who performed better won, but that doesn't mean that I can't criticize the format for what I perceive are flaws. Eh, how is it just to accommodate foreigners? Its one spot from MLG, which has been won by a korean every single time. And the winner of code A gets a spot directly. This format is much better imo, it should be hard to get into code S, and with this format I don't see any scrubs make it in.
I thought that foreigners got four code A spots or something from MLG, since Koreans can't take them. And I believe the format for up/down was changed because of the way that code a/s invites and the exchange program function. I'm not arguing about the fairness of the results, just about the use of round robin bo1 to determine the most deserving players, it just doesn't sit right with me. Oh well, the new Code S obviously deserve their spots, and I'm not taking anything away from them, but MC/Check are by no means scrubs. I guess this is just the nature of randomized brackets and single matches.

Definately think that LosirA and jjakji looked more solid then Check and deserve the spot, but it was entertaining and he played well. It CAN make sense though. Here's a 3-0: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=262855
That's fair too, I think. Leenock and SuperNova both played far superior to the other three.
Byun, Alicia and Happy probably would have made a better showing if they got to play more games, but Leenock and SuperNova would probably have advanced anyway.

Finally it's over... Such a long night of games. Nice to see multiple muta tech games in ZvZ.

I agree. Mvp was also in Code A and he beat MC so MC should go straight to Code B cuz he's worse.

Very true. The poor TL-mods who probably secretly wish for an all-out balanced game the most, so they can stop mass-banning people aside....I agree that the officials at GOM will definitely also get annoyed by the overrepresentation of one race, that makes for a worse viewer-experience. I mean, even many terran players around here would agree that watching only TvT can get really exhausting. I'm P and watching too many PvPs in a row drives me crazy.
