Anyone know where it is possible to see the maps for the upcoming Code A and Code S matches? I mean, on which maps the different matches take place.

QQ foreigners..... oh well, gotta keep working at it i guess

SaSe, I'm sorry i'm not a big follower of yours, but i promise i'll pay more attention now that you're in korea! The mentaility you are coming at it with is frankly disgusting. Why am I EXPECTED to cheer foreigners on more than Koreans just because I'm not Korean? I'm sorry, I don't see it as Korea against the World like most of you guys do, just because a majority of the people are still butt hurt from Starcraft 1. In fact, since I'm Chinese, I'd be cheering for Koreans more than I would be cheering for Europeans or Americans anyways geographical proximity-wise and since I'm Asian. I really could care less if a foreigner never won a game again. I'm much more into cheering for people who show skill and have a proper mindset towards this, and the dedication to succeed. Jinro and Naniwa get lots of respect from me because of their strong work ethic and dedication so I would hope the best for them. But don't expect to cheer for someone like Sheth that leaves Korea before even giving it a chance. I don't think people deserve to be flamed for making these decisions either. You are missing the point. You are assuming the only reason to cheer for these guys is their nationality, but that has nothing to do with it. Instead, we cheer on foreigners because they grew as players outside the esports capital of the world, and are thus underdogs. They represent the fact that korea is not the only place housing amazing talent (like many koreans seem to believe). .
Most Koreans say that it's all about training. Dunno where ur gettin that from.

that's the thing i don't understand. apparantly foreigners are jet lagged but whenever a korean comes over to mlg or plays in nasl with lag and loses to a foreigner then we get these little kids saying OMG korean lost to so and so ..foreigners rule mentality
fact is many koreans go over to mlg and play in the open bracket and just get tired out and lose to people who they should normally beat. if u want to talk about jet lag we must apply it to everybody.

exactly! the fact is the majority of viewers don't care who wins as long as they show good games (like white ra said) and the best play against the best.
there was a poll b4 that had 80% of pollers say that they just want the best players vs the best and you had a minority 20% who wanted foreigner only tournaments.
that 80% is big enough for e-sports to grow in the west. a lot of big companies sponsor western chinese and korean teams because they know a lot of people in the west and asia will be watching the streams. the advertisers don't care if it's white blacks orientals who are watching. they only care about the viewers and the number of them.
that's why we should just watch the best vs the best and stop worrying about the foreigner scene dying out because it will never die out as long as 80% of viewers want legitimate games between the best players.
fact is even in eg master's cup and the reign vs eg team competition held earlier this week, plenty of people tuned in even though there were no koreans. e-sports is alive and well because people wanna watch good sc2 even if there are no koreans. but when there are koreans around vs foreigners, you will get prolly 2-3 times more viewers than just foreigner vs foreigner alone

Yeah I always found it so odd how many people were so much more interested in foreigners and so much less in koreans. I usually pay more attention to the gameplay (and personality when shown) than the guy's face...
And it's strange that people are so taken aback when they see people shitting on foreigners for bad play, as if we weren't shitting on Inca when he got blownout against Nestea, anypro for blocking his nexus with a pylon in a nexus first build against July, and so on.

But if he were to participate in the GSL, we would all be rooting hard for him because he's a participant in the foreign scene.
Maybe you're missing the point. I have no attachment to "foreigners" and I really don't see a reason to. Maybe you can call me a SC newbie, but I don't have this separation that you guys all seem to have nor the butt hurt that you guys always seem to show. I like watching GOOD games that's all, and percentage wise, Koreans bring me good games more often than foreigners will.
Koreans do a lot of things that other players don't seem capable of yet. Just look at the blueflame hellion opening that everyone that is OP. It is OP if you can do it well, but if you don't have the skill to execute it, it can crash and burn pretty fast.
I do like foreign players like White-Ra and the ones I mentioned earlier, but I also find a lot of foreigners are extremely overrated and in fact pretty terrible, like CatZ, Drewbie and some others I won't even bother naming. All I'm saying is, people shouldn't be expected to cheer for foreigners everytime it's a foreigner vs Korean game because frankly many people won't.

i'm pretty sure if the esports capital was in a western european nation where the dominant players were all western european, you wouldn't be rooting for korean participants who were underdogs.
ur trying to sound impartial, but people aligning themselves with similar race/nationality is a fact.
posters on teamliquid always have a controversy with regards to select's identity; as a gamer status, he's totally a "foreigner", the way the esports community has defined foreigner. but every time select does well, there's always a few tl posters who will proclaim how he's not actually foreigner since he's "korean" (ethnically) and thus, delegitimizing his efforts.

You mean like how everyone suddenly said HuK was a foreigner again after he won two tournaments when back when he wasn't doing as well, people were using him as an example of how the Korean training style isn't necessarily the best?

Nani will never have to play in Code B because it's almost a lock that he will be amongst the top 4 finishing foreigners at any given MLG (who would be willing to take the invite). >
