im cheering for both, but that usually changes when one of the two gets a 2 - 0 lead and i'll be cheering for the underdog with 0 at that point

so, are you cheering for mana or dimaga?

Dimaga even though Mana is an good player, but Dimaga is just too awesome of the guy.

I'm cheering for Dimaga too. Even though he's won tons of weekly cups, I can't remember if he's won any large events. If he gets a big win, his team or he might afford to go to more international tournaments, which would be awesome.

Dear god of Starcraft,
let there be good finals.
give MaNa the power to defeat his fearsome opponent.
Let the finals not become GSL finals.
This is EUROPE!

I think MaNa is on his best in this tournament. He beat HuK, Sjow, Nada, Brat_ok ... compare this to the Road Dimaga had to go to be in the Finals ... MaNa FTW

Yeah Im also rooting for Dimaga. Speaking of team, he needs to be in an really awesome team. mTw kinda is a one man team (consisting of himself)

Just like me. Whenever I watch any match in any sport where I don't actually have a favourite I turn into underdog-maniac.

But this time I think I favour Dimaga a bit, but they're both awesome players and personalities.

He won a big Russian cup (2k $ in for 1st i believe) and Gygabyte cup, besides that nothing with this level of competition

funny that this event gives about 3x the award from mlg, has nada and sen, and yet gets probably about ten times fewer viewers

It has a roughly 50% higher price pool, 14000 dollars for MLG vs 15000 euro for Assembly.
i meant first prize 5k dollars mlg vs 8k euro assembly, but now that i check exchange rates you are right it's closer to 2x, not 3x

americans so much better at hyping their tournements Q_Q
well, mlg is also a bigger event i suppose, with more traditions, more regularly held, more famous, got featured on TL etc - but imo of highest importance is the live organization of the event, with huge crowd of fans, interviews, many top casters present there, translators, more koreans... yeah, there are other reasons you see

I heard that he was injured (I think I saw a picture of his leg in plaster), is this his first big tournament since he recovered or did I miss some east europe tourneys? Was a long time I didn´t see him participating in anything

Edit: ok, read post above from pirat, thanks

Arrrgh, delays.

Oh well, even if MaNa and DIMAGA both fall down a flight of stairs and break their arms, this final will be better then the GSL equivalent.

Considering that Ukranians (strelok and such), Lowely and Happy were there the level of competition was higher that you'd expect from just couple countries
