You need a Social Security ID for a Korean account Although I would guess if you specifically come there for the qualifiers you might be able to work something out with GomTV to provide you with an account for the day. In the rules it especially states: "You must use your own Battle.net account (cannot use your family's or friends' account)." Exceptions usually exemplify the rule. Edit: Hmmm, I hope this proverb works in english. I more or less translated straight from german. Just wondering, 'cause I actually might be in Korea sometime next year, and would like to try to qualify just for the fun of it.
Don't know if you missed it but:

They'll sort the rest out.
There seem to be a few people on this board here that actually life in Korea. They will know for sure. Personally I would just write to GomTV and ask directly.

John's a good color commentator. He should get try outs on Code A/GSTL days. If you gave him a few runs, he would probably be really good. He has better comedic timing than most other GSL commentators that have been tried out. He also knows how to be quiet when Wolf is commentating the games without interrupting every 10 seconds.

John is flabbergasted.
Oh and I thought most terrans have figured out by now that you can't really punish a good protoss' 1 gate expo with 3 rax.

(1gate if possible) expand + stargate + robo, you've still got nice tech to hold whatever else could happen. Plus, the phoenixes give you enough map control to see when the push is coming and you can engage them in a place they don't want to engage. Slow them down, have them waste a PDD, it's honstly easy to hold. I wish this would stop already. Remember when 2rax was unstoppable? Remember when 6gate was unstoppable? Remember when two base roach all-ins and baneling busts were unstoppable? You're wrong. This build is out there since early release, now has been perfected. It does not beat P players, it rolls over them, ever the best P's in the world lose aganist this build, even when is scouted like 3 mins before it hits, even if u take a fast expo. Why the push is op in small/medium maps? Because similar level T player completely rolls over his opponent, is not even close, with the P player having scouted it. As P, you need more skill than your opponent to stop the push, and that is not balanced. As a T player you need more skill than your opponent to hold a 6gate push. That's the nature of the game. Yes, this push is particularly strong, but I don't see any P trying anything new to hold it off. Stargate is an answer that isn't explored often enough. Sorry but i have to argue. If u scout the 6 gate, you have at least 1 expo at that time, like the P player. If you scout it even 2 mins before hand, you can easily repel it with bunker, auto repair, and any army you have; as every pro terran in tvp, terrans CAN repel it if they scout the push, and again, the push is a 2base vs a 2base push, much more fair. And, please, don't troll saying that u have and "unexplored" answer that pro koreans that spend 10 hrs a day playing have do not explored, PLEASE. I am not trolling. I have a working solution: you must not get hurt by the banshee harrass, and you must force the PDD before they reach your base. Phoenixes are one way to help achieve both, and it seems unexplored. Look how long it took korean pros to figure out that a spine crawler actually serves a purpose against bunker rushes. I would like to know how a star-gate opening is able to deal with the cloak variation of the 111 all-in...
I deal with it on a daily basis, been on a laddering binge since season 3 started and every single fucking terran is using this build. Seriously, screw this.
I've started opening 15nexus in PvT, which is safe once you figure out how to deal with the instant marine/scv all-in replies (I rush 3 stalkers, they do fine with proper micro).
Whenever I scout a walled in base, I know no pressure is coming soon. I take 3 gases and drop a robo & stargate. The robo chronoes an immortal then an obs, for defensive purposes, and the stargate chronoes a phoenix for scouting purposes. If a 1/1/1 build is scouted, I get 2 or 3 extra phoenixes. It's enough. If a vulnerable fast expand is spotted, I chrono a VR, drop +3 gates, and do some double front pressure (main army pushing at nat, VR in main with a proxy pylon warping zealots in the main).
