Disappointed in this post Jinro, you should know that MC just knew the weakness to Mech (its immobility) and went around the other side. If Hannibal had afew tanks covering his flank, he would of held it and won that game convincingly. Or rather; if it was a map that only had ONE path to attack, theres no way MC could of broke out of there.

Everything has its strengths and weaknesses.. Mech is slow and immobile, but protoss has no chance breaking a mech contain like hannibal had, so MC had to go around or else lose when the slow push finally reached him.

Yeah, everything has its weaknesses and the mech weakness is big enough to make it not worth doing on 99% of maps, and if MC actually got to play people who meched regularly he would murder it so bad its not even funny.


We'll see how the future of SC2 pans out.. but considering Thorzain did well vs MC with mech, Goody does well vs protoss with mech (despite his low apm/macro).. and didnt you beat afew protoss before with mech? Its not as strong as pure marauder, sure (what else in the game is), but its a viable strat.



Thorzain was succesful with his thor oriented build. Five days after, thors were nerfed to the ground and never seen since in TvP. Forever Bio, nothing else works on a regular basis. Goody is not on par with anyone in this tournament.


Thors are still useful, the nerf was needed due to the insane thor/scv allin.

But as for Goody, that was my point! Hes not a strong player (in comparison).. so when he can win series vs White-Ra (who CAN play at GSL level) and win games off people like HongUn (you might of heard of him beating MC last night) and Ace.. clearly a better player using mech should be able to at least make it work for afew games.

GoOdy got raped by TSL_Killer in a torunament some days/1-2weeks ago. on Xel naga. The map where Mech is actually pretty playable (in every MU).

Mech wont stand a chance in highlevel TvP play


Although Killer cheesed that game on Zel'Naga.

Well, Goody is the best mech player and does pretty well with insanely low APM
Makes you think it does have some potential
I mean, his macro is really bad

This is terrible from BBB -_- just turtling 200/200 with roach/hydra/corruptor. wat.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.
