Do you even have facts to back up your statements? PuMa went through aLive, Clide, and NightEnd in bo3. That is just the playoff bracket. He also took out numerous opponents in the open bracket such as Dimaga. Refer to ![]() It's really disgusting how ignorant some people are. Also you can't lose any series or you're eliminated from the Open Tournament. Why do people keep saying he beat Dimaga? Dimaga got a deffloss...

I guess what they are saying is that PuMa played 2 days to qualify and than won it all and the others went through a 6-7 month qualification league with dozens of matches which they had to prepare for. I was rooting for PuMa but I really think the system isn't that good.

ThorZaIN been doing it for awhile..check out game 4 MC/Thor of TSL or their match ups in MLG. Templar are very viable you just have to spread, micro and have vision, watch same games or everything but game 1 of this series.

Gretorp is an awesome commentator... what's the problem? I really think Gretorp stepped up for the finals. He did an excellent job with both incontrol and Day9. The guy obviously took some criticisms to heart and worked hard to improve his casting. i have to agree with this right here

The NASL finals began with a unexplained 2 hour delay, followed by puma bunker rushing ret. It ended with a lag-filled, pause/re-start filled epic 6 games, only to have game 7 be a rush fail by MC. Disappointed to say the least. But there were very exciting moments, particularly Darkforce and sen-mc.

I hadn't actually thought of this wrinkle in the system, but that really does seem unfair to the players who spent months prepping for games. It seems like it would be better to use the open bracket only as a qualifier for slots in the upcoming season, rather than allowing players in the open bracket to completely bypass the grind of the current league season. Alternatively, it might make sense for NASL to pay out prize money based on league performance, so that there's an incentive to play in the league beyond qualifying to get into the grand finals.
