Ofcousre, they are not the best casters there but the other casters are "guests announcers" so this decision is the right one. I don't agree, they brought tastosis from Korea and even day9 in in order to promote their event and generate more stream views and ticket sales. For none of them to cast the most important match of the tournament when I'm sure 99% of the fans agree that they're vastly superior casters is a mistake.
I think Tastosis just makes more sense since they know the two finalists much better. Gretorp/Incontrol don't know Puma at all.

Also just noticed the TeamLiquid patch on MC's uniform.

Pretty sure most Americans would think Aussies pronounce words oddly as well. (Welcome to an international community by the way! )

I'm kind of bummed Incontrol won't be casting next season, he is quite good. He and Day9 were great together.

This. Please stop it. I can't understand why people whine that Incontrol and Gretorp are casting the finals. Of course they are, they have been casting NASL the whole freaking time.

I think they deserve it though! I disagree. They hired the worlds 3 best casters and dont let them cast the finals. makes me kinda sad They're the main NASL casters, it'd be stupid not to give them the final I completely agree. Day9 and Tastosis were great to have there, but Gretorp and Incontrol deserve to cast the finals.
No I don't agree with you. I think from an entertainment perspective (which is what the NASL really is: entertainment), they should go with the best/most entertaining casters. And I think the vast majority of people think that tastosis or day9/someone combo would be much better than inc/gretorp. I understand that inc/gretorp have put in a lot of work for the regular season, but the NASL is not about them, it's about the spectators. The event itself is more important than those 2 people.
An example is if you manage teamFXO in the GSTL. Say they're in the finals down to the last match. A week prior, (for whatever reason), they managed to sign Nestea or MC (or whoever the best sc2 player is at the time). For the final match, should they play that newly acquired player? Or moonan. Most people would say Nestea b/c you would want to win the GSTL. But with your logic, you would send out moonan because he's been more loyal and has been with the team for a longer time. In the end, you must make your decisions based on the higher ranking priority. In this case, it would be rewarding loyalty or completing the overarching objective.

Ofcousre, they are not the best casters there but the other casters are "guests announcers" so this decision is the right one. Sorry, but that's capital BULLSHIT. You guys want esports to be taken seriously? Then start taking it seriously, in ANY major sport out there the broadcaster will have the top caster team do the finals, regardless of who casted all season. Its the finals, they should have the top casters on the table, period. Really, theres no logical explanation on why gretorp and incontrol are casters for the grandfinals when they have day9+tastosis in the house, simple as that.
lol emotional much? do you even watch sports? in any major sport the same casters that cast the regular season cast the finals. there is not much of a rotation.

He's referencing a troll that got a message on air calling incontrol that name. Hence the quotation marks.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAH MC FIGHTING

I am pretty disappointed in their choice of finals casters. 3 of the best casters in the world in day9 and tastosis. Gretorp seems like a super nice guy but its painful for me to listen to him cast. Incontrol though is fun to listen to.
|
Hope Incontrol and Gretorp give this their all, they need to for everyone to enjoy it!
|
If Puma wins, he might be overrated and hyped like MMA, then disappoint later on.

Did I see an oGsStupid in the battlenet chat?

i think these both are great casters

They're not as good as Tastosis, but they're not terrible. Give them a break, they worked all season to get to this point, just like the players. They want to see it all go down. Yes they are terrible. They are...
I think they're good, Gretorp in particular has really grown on me over the course of the season. I'm glad he'll be back next season.
