Sen 3-1 July
MC 4-3 PuMa
And, yes, times are bad for EU, but it is the North American Starleague, so it's quite normal to have a good schedule for Americans who are there in real life.

1hr wait, 20min BO3, 1 hr wait, 20min BO3 repeat is a joke. If they actually had something to fill the time it would be better but watching the same intro videos before every game and playing the BW soundtrack while watching a half empty hall is not fun. Even if it wasn't at a ridiculous time I don't think I'd watch the final day live, I'd rather have the VODs so I can skip to when there's actually starcraft being played. MCs going to dominate the final, Puma looked pretty beatable against people who aren't on MCs level. MC is on another level to basically everyone in this tournament.

As much as want to watch MC being boss, I have to consider my job and that means going to sleep before 2 am. + Show Spoiler + It is the NORTH AMERICAN star league. Their goal isn't to cater to everyone in the world. They are picking the times that work best for NA viewers, and NA spectators at the event. Sorry, people don't want to show up at Noon to watch the finals just so some dick TL poster in Europe can get his sleep. They are trying to make it an event for the people in attendance. Several in attendance have said there are all sorts of things going on to pass the time. I believe they are doing this so that in the future they can continue to build it up so that more people will want to ATTEND in person where they can make some good money selling tickets to the EVENT. You know when the game times are, they are posted! you don't have to sit around and watch for 8 hours, just tune in when the game times start. All of them started on time yesterday and I'm sure they will today as well. So go do other things during the downtime quit staring at the stream. That is better than say MLG which will all the sudden take a random hour break and then next thing you know you've missed a game. I'm so sick of the Euro bitching about this event, specifically the time of the games. I've had to watch the GSL at 4AM constantly, and try to figure out how to watch European events at all sorts of hours as well. And I thought Americans were suppose to be the self centered ones, I appreciate you guys reminding me that it isn't Americans that is the problem, it is just people in general across the world that are the problem. Yea it's quite obvious this event isn't designed for people watching but people at the event. A little sad they can't do both. ps: I don't understand the whole NA thing with the name. Why do people always bring that up in defence or something?

It is just the direction they decided to go, if they catered more to the stream the people in attendance would have been like "damn that was lame I came all this way for 2 hours of SC on Saturday?" It baffles me that people are making statements like they have to tune in at the start of the event and sit through the first 2-3 hours. The game times are POSTED. Just go do other things and tune in when the games are slated to start according to the times in the OP. EVERY game yesterday started according to the time posted in the OP. People acted like they were tied to their computer chair and forced to sit there waiting for the next games. Go do something else and come back, that is what I did.

If it began earlier, then you'd have people from Korea complaining that it's in the middle of the night, instead of in the morning. And there will be plenty of Koreans watching due to the players involved. Now you know how North America feels when they watch GSL at 5AM =P GSL audience target is Korean. NASL is both american and european, do you see the difference? And the korean audience for NASL will not be big... GSL, named Global Starcraft2 League, who hosted a "World All Star" team to come and compete not too long ago, who streams every single event in English, and just began the Player Exchange Program with MLG. That GSL? Their only target audience is Koreans? And why should Europeans get more preference from NASL than any Koreans, Chinese, or especially Taiwanese (Sen is in the tournament after all) who tune in? I don't mean to start a fight, but you seem very belligerent in arguing that your needs should be tended to over others who, to me, seem equally important.

Perhaps instead of just catering the people who are going there, they should think about us subscribers as well. I'm not saying they should air this during EU prime time, but 9 hour for 2 games is pathetic really. There might show up a couple of extra persons next time, but all in all, I'm guessing with the amount of subscribers they will lose, they would've been better off thinking about stream-watchers as well. MLG and Dreamhack caters excellent to both audience and stream, why can't NASL try to do the same?

Well they could have just had a double elim bracket and it would have catered for both. The simplest solution I can think of. Also you have to understand. It's hard to go do something else at 2am while you battling to stay awake due to nothing going on for some unknown reason. I know NA guys stay up for GSL and that's quite amazing but you have to understand the difference is the GSL doesn't just add in fluff for seemingly no reason. Sure they do the kpop thing but that's just an added one time spectacle

NASL has two Koreans playing in the finals competing for a prize that's bigger than that of the GSL finals. You don't think Korean Starcraft II fans might want to watch this? i think MC will win, but im certain the loser will get at least 2 wins. So its gonna be either 4-3 or 4-2 but i think it could go either way. sucks that i gotta wait up till 1am to see it start though. and thats if it even starts on time
