How could anyone think that they're making money?!

I think so I think what he meant was "profiting". Is the NASL turning a profit from this season, aka can they continue business. Not obvious considering the sponsors are kinda small.

Maybe the best foreign Zerg, but Huk has clearly established himself as the top foreigner at the moment. I wouldn't go that far. Rember when Jinro was dominating...look what happened. This was also during when there was imbalanced maps. Lets stop making generalizations off a few tournaments. Sen could have been Code-S but he decided to stay in taiwan to help promote e-sports there. Not saying he couldn't have made it to Code S but IIRC he only would have had enough points to qualify for Code A as, and again I might not be remembering this right, in GSL2 (or 3) he lost in the round of 32 to Nestea.

I think so They probably lost money on this season, but made operating income. A ton of investment probably went into fixed costs, from the sound boards(the sound problem yesterday was apparently because a cable was defective) to the other equipment. What was all of that about anyway? The sound was fine for me yesterday lol.

I really doubt that even MC would call that match easy. No but GSL would mean more several matchups of that difficulty rather than having Koreans absolutely stomp 80% of their matches with no challenge until RO4-ish. MC stomps most of his gsl opponents too. Offhand I can't think of a gsl match of his that was closer than this one. Yeah but that's under completely different conditions (one week of dedicated practice for the matchup) and even then he doesn't really stomp them (as evidenced by his early round losses).

It's just by comparison, it looks great only because of how shitty yesterday was. Not saying they haven't improved but still the worse organized tournament I've ever witness in sc2. Someone didn't get any hugs from their mom. The games were great, played on time, and they were streamed to everyone. I can think of several tournaments that didn't do that.

I'd take dimaga/throzain/sen/naniwa/idra before huk because they've been much more consistent. Idra consistent? Is that a joke? Huk won Dreamhack, HSC3 and is doing fantastic in Code S. Yeah, what a sloppy, inconsistent player.

Yeah sure but the fact that I have to trust on Koriterrans because Zergs aren't able to handle it is a disgrace... So Losira at MLG doesn't count for anything? Or the fact that MC is actually really good and the majority of the 16 spots were Zergs?
