I can see that. But Losira, DRG and Nestea are all better than sen.

Clearly the best foreigner? Maybe the best foreign Zerg, but Huk has clearly established himself as the top foreigner at the moment.

I wouldn't go that far. Rember when Jinro was dominating...look what happened. This was also during when there was imbalanced maps. Lets stop making generalizations off a few tournaments. Sen could have been Code-S but he decided to stay in taiwan to help promote e-sports there.

Sen was too late making a spinecrawler wall, he went up to 105 drones and he should've had 10 spines + a spore or two on both sides map. If he does that hes in an incredible position but he didn't. Very frustrating I felt like Sen really played at or above MC's level but he loses because of basically singular mistakes.

Lol then he isn't at or above MC's level if he can make a mistake like that. You have poor logic. Planning for everything is a "skill" that all top players should have.

Why do people say Huk is Korean. He is a foreigner who trains with Koreans... What is not to understand. If you are in the same environment you will adapt. He trains as hard as they do... that is why he can compete.

Who was the friend he was talking about from sc1?

He was talking about how puma was a friend for over 8 years ever since they played broodwar together and that he taught him how to tvp.

MC vs July finals

July went some terrible Ling/Hydra builds with no Roach Speed/Tunneling and died everytime. If he had gone those two upgrades then maybe the games would have gone on longer. You can't blame him for that

Yeah well most of these foreigners play like 2 hours a day, and the koreans play 12 hours a day. What do you expect?
It's like you trying to fight mike tyson in a boxing ring. It's nothing to complain about.

I don't think Sen is one of them is he?I actually have no idea of the Taiwanese training but I think it should be pretty damn good, they have a Taiwanese Starleague and I wouldn't be suprised if they have progaming houses akin to the Koreans aswell.

Sen is also doing full time studies at the university. He's doing like finance and accounting or something along those lines.

This guy is amazing. Since day1 of beta Sen has always been up there.

The quality of the stream(mainly audio) was so much better today than yesterday, I'm glad they got that crap sorted out. On top of that there has been so many epic games, especially today, I can't wait for the matches tomorrow and for the next season to start. Speaking of that, does anyone know when the next season will begin?

We really can't even consider a bonjwa until after LotV is out. The game's still shifting too much for someone to claim that title.

Ok, too all the zerg's saying sen outplayed mc. I am a high masters zerg and I will occasionally delve into balance, but that is just not the case at all. MC outplayed sen, Sen got nervous and made a few hasty decisions that lost him the game. both player played brilliantly, but MC had to make soo many very tough decision in that game. He HAD to delay his gold expo on meta, he made incredible descision on when to attack and a incredibly smart void switch on terminus. So many good decisions by MC. MC was moments away from losing it all at many points but he made the correct descisions every time. The first two loses, was because he was unprepared to deal with that relatively new style sen showed.

Ps: I must be ahead of the curve meta game wise, because I do the exact same thing sen did, in most those games, However, Sen did alot of things I didn't think about, spine crawler walls, brilliant :D

MC and Sen are kind of tired out after the game.

It's better for the game to be tomorrow, player need to hit the best form.

And It is 2 Best of 7 anyway, It will probably worth the day

No wonder Koreans are joining foreign teams, this is easy money.

I really doubt that even MC would call that match easy.

No but GSL would mean more several matchups of that difficulty rather than having Koreans absolutely stomp 80% of their matches with no challenge until RO4-ish.

MC stomps most of his gsl opponents too. Offhand I can't think of a gsl match of his that was closer than this one.

No, huk isn't the best foreigner at all. I'd take dimaga/throzain/sen/naniwa/idra before huk because they've been much more consistent.

Really? How so?

That's why I said at the moment. And IIRC, Sens code A run did not qualify him for Code S.

Huk won two tournaments in a row where all of those players were attending. He beat Naniwa, and Idra, and the others did not make it far enough to beat him. He rarely plays on the NA scene, I don't know what more proof you could ask for. Huk 6 months ago? No he was not the best foreigner, but he is the only foreigner who has demonstrated the ability to get consistent results vs Koreans.

His english is really improving. I like that he is making the effort to do it on his own, just like how Jinro learned Korean. I guess Huk said he is trying to learn Korean too, but he's not very good at it or something

It's an incredibly difficult language for native English speakers. It's SO different.

Wouldn't it be just as hard for Swedish people?

Asian languages are not as hard as people make them out to be. The truth is that ALL languages are hard to learn. Asian languages might be slightly different, but like all other languages it's a matter of practice and application.
