Idra's fan page has almost 1,000 pages ![]() That's because when he loses there is 10 pages of balance whine. Exactly why he's the biggest SC2 celebrity. He's just a whiny nerd that for some reason has a lot of Americans that love him. People like MC are actual stars in a positive sense. The reason doesn't matter, Idra is the biggest SC2 celebrity, and that's it. For some reason? He's a beastly player, he was the first "SC2 with an actual attitude", he is really funny if you read his interviews, and his "whines" are always logical and based on facts. "Stars in the positive sense" what the hell is that? And why, of all pepole, is MC, a guy who acts beyond arrogant (even though it's just for show) is a star in the positive sense? It seems like you are an Idra hater (also note - Idra has the most haters out of any player, that's also a sign of a celebrity), and can't seem to fathom why a lot of pepole like the guy. Anyway, wether you like him or hate him, Idra is the most famous and well known SC2 persona, his streams can get more live viewers than a D9D, etc etc. I bet NesTea or MC could have more viewers than IdrA if they actually had a stream featured on TL. Let's say that they would have easily more viewers who are interested in their playing, rather than in the drama aspect. like the 10k extra who tuned in to idras stream during his days of commentary NO INTROS? SO SICK!

Nope, only paid vods. Stupid times, for GSL they have to stick to a schedule for TV broadcasting, so it isn't good for NA. But they delayed this for so long that europe basically have to stay up till 5 am when they could have played all games already. Pretty annoying. MLG was perfect for the times. qq ppl in america have to constantly watch gsl from 2-10am you have no idea how good you have it still Yeah GSL airs at like 7 AM in Europe.. Either you work or you sleep. airs at 11:10 AM, semi, finals and etc. usually airs around 8. CEST Whatever. How does your nitpicking change my statement at all? Actually it was very relevant, because as a student at University I can second that I sleep at 7 AM and would only consider setting an alarm clock for finals. 11:10 is a decent time to get up and start the day with some GSL. When I watched it always started around 6-7. It was season 1-5 though. Now I'm working full time though so I don't have time to watch it regardless. Good for you though I guess. Still, it's not like GSL is at prime time for Europeans, which the poster I actually responded to seemed to think it was, which once again is why I don't think any of what you're saying is relevant, as it's only true for the minority of people with no obligations during the day.

Anyway famous for being a raging, whiny person is not something to be proud of. And it still baffles me that someone with those characteristics can stand out in a 'nerdy' scene. It's far more impressive to be as liked and respected as someone like MC. But let's drop this discussion, it has nothing to do with the NASL. I'm sure you can discuss it with the other 'fans' in idras thread.
