Can you really use Messi as an example? I'd argue not because Argentina's football regiment is already very rigorous (unlike NA SC2 regiment vs Korean SC2). You could say Messi is Spanish trained, but at the end of the day, the Argentinian regiment he went through before going to Spain was already pretty intense, and going to Spain only built on what he had. Was HuK always amazing? That's debatable, but when he went to Korea he was hardly owning it up, it wasn't until he spent time training under the Korean regiment that he became as good as he has become lately. So to reiterate, I don't think your argument applies.

I bet with my friend as soon as HuK or Jinro won anything, people would consider them Foreigners again, I was right. Why are foreigners so desperate to have a "champion" that they can call "foreign" when the player themself has already considered themself Korean (like Jinro and HuK have openly admitted).

He is a Chinese player, who plays a lot of foreign tournaments. You don't see much of the Chinese players, but they are really really strong. Tons of them are high ranked on the Korean ladder, and they had a very strong showing in StarsWars tourney. Because they are generally not well integrated to the foreign scene I would consider them separate.
