It all just comes down to where you live. Its going to be at a terrible time for someone, no matter when it is on. and if you felt like complaining at DH being 2h late and then taking breaks at that, I would not have complained. huge mess ups like this aren't acceptable in sports, why should we accept it? this I even payed for.

No, they decided that Huk, Haypro, Ret and Idra played on the korean server and could therefore not participate in qualification

Let's start a meta-discussion about this thread! How fuckable is the NASL? (answer: It has already made me deaf in one ear which means we are practically a married couple at this point. Whether or not this makes the NASL fuckable, well, I have no idea.) HuK's production value (answer: not great, refused makeup at the GSL.) Rebecca Black, Korean? (answer: Friday Friday Friday)
You deserve a medal sir

Oh no, a choir is coming into the background. Brass instruments are picking up. The tempo is getting faster. OH MY GOD SEN GET OUT OF THERE. SOMETHING TERRIBLE IS GOING TO HAPPEN. SEN WATCH OUT SEN.

Huk is the only real foreign pro gamer because hes living with the oGs crew and practicing like them, the koreans are a level above everyone else not because they are genetically better, but rather they are better because of the way they live and practice to be a pro gamer. Oh yes, I 100% agree. Huk's practice environment in the oGs house definitely is the primary factor for the success of this Canadian in the Korean scene and in Europe.

The reason Huk is doing so well is because hes in the oGs house practicing, Huk is a real pro gamer he moved to korea to develop his skills, all the other pro gamers who don't move to korea are contempt with being a level lower than the real pro gamers living in korea. I consider pro gamers who aren't in korea, casual gamers.
Select is korean yet we consider him a foreigner, huk is the opposite and we don't consider him korean? Sure he might be canadian, but hes practicing with the korean team and hes playing like a korean.
but select has spent much of his life in American if I'm not wrong. HuK has been in Korean for less than a year.
I thought select was a transfer student in a "study abroad" program? I'm pretty sure he's going back to korea no?

i KNEW it. I even bet my close friend that the day HuK won anything substantial (Dreamhack), I knew foreigners would suddenly say he's NOT Korean. For months now, people used HuK as the argument for why Korean training didn't necessarily mean superiority and whenever there was a Koreans vs Foreigners argument, HuK was at the center of attention as an argument as to why Koreans were not better (aka. HuK was considered KOREAN).
Now that HuK has won two tournaments, now the foreigners are embracing him again. Hahahahaha, so ridiculous. Completely laughable.
Can you really use Messi as an example? I'd argue not because Argentina's football regiment is already very rigorous (unlike NA SC2 regiment vs Korean SC2). You could say Messi is Spanish trained, but at the end of the day, the Argentinian regiment he went through before going to Spain was already pretty intense, and going to Spain only built on what he had. Was HuK always amazing? That's debatable, but when he went to Korea he was hardly owning it up, it wasn't until he spent time training under the Korean regiment that he became as good as he has become lately. So to reiterate, I don't think your argument applies.
I bet with my friend as soon as HuK or Jinro won anything, people would consider them Foreigners again, I was right. Why are foreigners so desperate to have a "champion" that they can call "foreign" when the player themself has already considered themself Korean (like Jinro and HuK have openly admitted).
I love you. For saying my exact thoughts.

I am going to sleep now, maybe I will still be able to watch Sen vs. Zenio live when I wake up. The only thing that entertained about NASL so far are unintentional funny things like awkward interviews and the Starcraft-Community.
MLG Anaheim will be great.

If Huk trains in Korea, does that make him Korean? You tell me.
This is the most ridiculous debate since the .999 = 1 arguments on the old B.net forums.
Thats a terrible fuckin comparison. Let me throw in another terrible comparison. Korean dude immigrates to America, learns the language, gets a job, becomes a citizen. Does that not make him American? This is about "Korean training" and how Huk has successfuly integrated himself into that system and reaped the benefits. He plays like a Korean and thats what everyone means when they say hes korean. So many retards in here...

they just witnessed beating by koreans and they are jumping into bandwagon that EU/NA cannot be good anymore without going into korea, such a sublime excuse or maybe autopsy from the past (bw) who knows,
Idra was longer in Korea yet there wasnt even dispute about him being korean(at least not that blatant), because there was no korean presensce in NA/EU tournies, seems like a good excuse for our own NA/EU players

This is a starcraft thing. Actual nationality is not really relevant, it's all about training regimen.

When does the tournament resume?

Kittens are getting punched if the next match doesn't happen soon, I can't even fathom what is making them take hour long breaks in between sets, or why they at least don't have something to entertain the stream watchers during the downtime.

that's how we germans roll - unfortunately I'm not even kidding. Complaining about everything which isn't perfect just for the sake of complaining. It's annoying to see though - and everytime I read threads on TL or on a foreign website, always the german-speaking people are the most nitpicky guys. That's probably why you make really good cars though good cars? You must be kidding.

Look I'm not trying to start a conspiracy, but terran usually had the best winning percentage/most top players since bw. Its gotta be the music.

So if an organizer of a starcraft tournament tells you: "You are korean" - then you are?
And what if they tell you, you're a iraki? They organize the tournament, it's their call - deal with it...
What a logic...
