I'm not making up my own rules. The people who run the tournament decided that Huk, Idra, Haypro, Ret, etc count as Korean. I think they're more qualified than you or I to judge what soemthing means in the context of starcraft.

The reason Huk is doing so well is because hes in the oGs house practicing, Huk is a real pro gamer he moved to korea to develop his skills, all the other pro gamers who don't move to korea are contempt with being a level lower than the real pro gamers living in korea. I consider pro gamers who aren't in korea, casual gamers.
Select is korean yet we consider him a foreigner, huk is the opposite and we don't consider him korean? Sure he might be canadian, but hes practicing with the korean team and hes playing like a korean.
but select has spent much of his life in American if I'm not wrong. HuK has been in Korean for less than a year.

If any non-Korean is going to win (not counting white-ra against select) it's going to be sen especially considering how volatile zvz is. Hopefully he can pull it out.

that's how we germans roll - unfortunately I'm not even kidding. Complaining about everything which isn't perfect just for the sake of complaining. It's annoying to see though - and everytime I read threads on TL or on a foreign website, always the german-speaking people are the most nitpicky guys.
That's probably why you make really good cars though

NASL is bigger than I thought. Those numbers are comparable to the TSL.
Then again, I would imagine their budget must be several orders of magnitude higher. I hope they are able to improve themselves and grow in the coming seasons.
It had 45k an hour ago.

LOL at this "Huk is korean or american/canadian" argument. As many more players follow in Huk's footsteps, more and more will get confused. Maybe then there will be no distinction between foreigners and Koreans (in play style and skill). Just SC2 players.

I just woke up to see all koreans win 2-0. L O L

I don't think it's fair to count this thread versus MLG Columbus. This tournament is artificially being prolonged with 2 hour delays, hour breaks, and hour intros. The actual match times are like an hour total. = /

May be it's different in Germany. How do you call a Korean being eligible to play for Korea in a Starcraft II nationwar?
Korean?
That meaning overrides your meaning applied to people not from Korea currently living in Korea.
TLO is not a Swede, Dirk Nowitzki is not American, Lionel Messi is not Spanish.

One thing you should take care to realize is that Huk and TL in general are in a pretty privileged position, being able to live with a korean team let alone one as talented as oGs isn't the norm, not anyone can just go over there and do that, and even someone as talented as Idra who tried to make it work alone couldn't justify the cost to his team and sponsors. Despite talk to the contrary, Idra moving back to the States was not his decision alone to make.

They meant Korean as in living in Korea because people who were living in Korea could not attend online qualifiers.

Yes but Huk's success should be credited to him living in korea... Huk is the only real foreign pro gamer because hes living with the oGs crew and practicing like them, the koreans are a level above everyone else not because they are genetically better, but rather they are better because of the way they live and practice to be a pro gamer.

Isn't a Korean technically somebody born/raised in Korea? =/
This is the reason why I don't care much for HuK being called a Canadian, but meh... mosdef not Korean.
